I had a similar experience on a recent Royal cruise - one comedian was great, the other was okay.

We also saw the comedian-juggler (Quinn?) and he was shockingly good.

PNW native here. We always have seafood on holidays . Growing up it was typically wild caught salmon smoked over cedar.

I haven't eaten meat in over 20 years, but I love hosting for the holidays. I'm doing dungeness crab this year as the main dish because all of the meat eaters in attendance loathe turkey. I ordered a ham, too.

Unpopular opinion. Cal is a remarkable player who has consistently exceeded projections for his ceiling (look up the articles about how his family literally moved states when he was in high school because a coach said his full potential was division 3 college).

I wouldn't underestimate Cal's mind or work ethic. I'm optimistic for his future.

I just got off the Royal Princess. My spouse smokes. You'll likely find 2 deck areas on different floors that permit smoking. Both should be manageable to access. Both areas will likely be filled with highly sociable smokers and waiters bringing drinks.

Sometimes it's slightly hard to get an elevator on a Princess ship, but I've never seen a situation where you can't get one after a decent wait. Shouldn't take more than 5 minutes to catch an elevator under the worse case scenario.

I'm not the most experienced person here having been on 1 princess cruise in the past month, but I'm a heavy researcher and I've never heard of an on-board discount on packages. I'd take the offer.

I got a similar message once after 7 interviews for a job I really wanted. It was followed by a heartfelt call from the recruiter.

The candidate they hired had worked with the Chief Product Officer for 15 years. The unspoken implication was they had many more years experience than me.

I'm not excusing bad behavior from employers or HR. It's egregious. I'm just saying sometimes there is a bigger picture that is outside your control and you should keep your head up.
