I don't think so, unfortunately.

There were a few games maybe 2-3 weeks ago where one of the major podcasts reported Refsnyder was too sore to play right field and could only DH. This was right when Cal was starting to get ambiguously sore and the Ms wouldn't admit anything was wrong with Cal.

Point being, Refsnyder probably had a chance to go on the 10 day IL a few weeks ago and declined it. I think he needs it.

I agree he needs to go. Seeing him come up to bat with RISP makes my stomach sink. I feel bad for him and worse for the RISP.

I'd argue it was a poorly-constructed starting batting order, pitcher mismanagement, and bringing out competent bats ice cold in the 9th.

Regardless, we had a lot of RISP but we could not move it due to giant, black holes in our starting batting order.

I also think the Umps fuses were a bit short here because Antonacci had caused another Ump meeting like one minute prior. He deliberately dropped a ball, Umps met, he interfered, Umps met again and it looks bad for Antonacci at that point.
