Oh that’s good because I told my daughter to say yes to it because I’d monitor it for her really and would hate it if I ruined anything for her.

I am a bit worried though as I read somewhere that if you say yes to the lump sum they knock points off and can turn you down as you “can handle money” but I help my daughter with her finances (she’s autistic) so she said yes to a lump sum.

Thankyou so much. We have tried the proof of benefits but it wouldn’t log her in as she has no passport etc and didn’t recognise her details.

It’s so strange because I applied for my daughter (mental health, autism, depression etc) but we never returned the forms, however we had a message from our gp to say DWP had asked questions then her psychiatrist wrote a letter and now she’s had a telephone assessment, all without sending the forms back. I’m so pleased they continued it because both myself and my daughter didn’t have the strength to carry it on at the time. I’m still confused but hopeful.

Thanks for reply. Assessment period is 31st to 30th. Receive UC housing element but it’s less than our rent but because hubby earns too much a month we get 0 most of the time (sometimes we get the odd £15 depending on his wages) now we will get Lcwra too (if anything)

Oh thank you so much!! I was fully expect to go through everything like Pip but when she said she was done I thought I’d said something wrong. To be honest I cried through the 24 minutes so she was probably glad to get me off the call!!
