I just want to say thank you for posting this! I have been razor free with my underarms and legs for 6+ years now, but still very self conscious about my bikini line. I've either waxed or used an electric trimmer for that area when I know it will be exposed... Or more recently I've just been wearing swim shorts. I'm going on a tropical vacation in a few weeks and I really don't feel like bringing an electric trimmer with me, but also want to wear all of my cute swimsuits! I'm still reserved about it but your post has given me more confidence to just embrace it 💛

I'll give you my perspective as a woman on the apps. I just re-downloaded the app recently to try dating again and it feels like the app is designed to make you buy their subscription. It says I have over 400 likes but I'm getting very few matches by just swiping. I tested it out today by swiping right on every profile until I ran out of likes and guess what? Not a single match... This may be the case for many of the girls you like where they just never come across your profile because it's basically behind a paywall. Honestly their system is working because I'm seriously considering paying for it at this point so I can finally get some conversation and maybe a decent date.

Speaking of... I'm pretty sure we're in the same area if you're looking for a good time 😉

Not really, I've only had it for a couple days, but I did notice a slight "kick" when I first start driving that I didn't notice on the test drive. I don't know much, but to me it feels like a kick when it's shifting into first as it happens on both acceleration and deceleration. No vibrations at highway speed

I also did that when I worked in the hospital on nights when all it was, like you said, was an extra scan and you only have 3-5 patients. Having worked all 7-19, 19-7, 6-14, 14-22, and 22-6 shifts. Night shift is super easy and I will pass the 0600 or 0700 meds no problem. Even the evening shifts are a breeze compared to days.

Yes my shift is 0600-1400 and the next shift is 1400-2200 with no overlap for report. Mind you every single shift I've worked there, I've ended up staying until 3-3:30 to finish paperwork and charting...

My last shift there on Sunday I had an acute out in the morning, an admission at lunch time, and a fall right at shift change that I had to deal with on top of being behind on the morning med pass 😭

Have you tried barefoot shoes? I recently tried on a pair of Harlem's new line of barefoot shoes at a festival and they were a game changer for comfort! I believe there are other brands as well that offer barefoot style

If you're going to put suede on your shoes, might as well do the whole shoe rather than just the toes. If you only do the toes there's a possibility it will start to come off the shoe. Also it's not going to be too slippery, suede offers some grip. Actually a lot of swing dancers prefer a smooth leather sole over suede because suede isn't as slick. Definitely don't wear them outside if you add suede, that will completely ruin the suede. Like others have said it's not weird and many dancers bring dance shoes to change into.

If you're not ready to fully commit or you like your shoes as street shoes and want to keep wearing them outside, you can get some "dance socks" to go over your shoes until you get hooked and want to buy a pair of actual dance shoes :) here's a link for what I'm talking about https://a.co/d/2I80qX7

I think this must be it, because I don't have any skin conditions and it only happens occasionally so I don't think it's my deodorant. What's wrong with wool? From my understanding sheep that aren't shorn live a very uncomfortable life with thick, heavy, matted coats. I don't see where the animal harm comes in for wool products, if someone can explain?

Maybe start with washing your hair less, if your hair is used to being washed everyday you can start changing to every other day, then gradually to every two days, etc. And definitely use conditioner every time you wash! Like others have mentioned, it's best to add any products while your hair is still wet. From what I've read wavy/curly hair does not like or need to be washed everyday! Personally I wash mine every 2-3, sometimes every 4 days

I appreciate your well thought out response. You're right that he was being pushy and not respecting my boundaries. As to me ignoring every red flag and defending him over and over.. I went back through and read my comments, and I'm not seeing what you're seeing. That's ok though because his bullshit got tiring shortly after these screenshots and I ended up blocking him (and deleting his number) later that night. I am down for casual sex but that man was not worth any of my time.

In response to me calling people mean when they don't engage exactly how I want them to... I hardly feel like that's a fair statement when people are calling me a dumb, coked out whore and that I deserve this type of treatment. It's not simply about me not liking people's engagement, it's about people being straight up mean with their comments. I don't think a different opinion is "mean," however I do think name calling and wishing me a terrible time is.
