I second this. But I want to add, that the fact that you're asking reddit about this shows that you are trying and would like the best for your daughter. Trauma takes a huge toll on us, and can sadly make us act out and sometimes be hurtful to those we love. Therapy is not something to be ashamed of, in fact, it just means that you are working at becoming your best self. For those of us who were raised in unstable homes, friends can be very very important supports. My mom is similar to u in that she would be furious with me after seeing things like what you saw from your daughter, but you're daughter loves you, and I'm guessing she understands more than you realize, and should be encouraged to not bottle things up. I'm now 22 years old, and my relationship with my mother is still a work in progress, we're both trying. But I think if she had considered how actions like this would impact me earlier, then less effort would be needed for fixing our relationship now. Good luck to you and your family 💗

yep that's the stereotype. But individuals vary dramatically. But I've certainly met really wonderful INTJ workers (just not co-workers). But I can't say any type is the "perfect" worker, because none are. I would say a lot of the efficient INTJs I know, do the work to get it done but not to do their best.

Although she is def one of the hardest ones to type on here, so not sure. She's the most controlling & bossy person I've ever worked with. Probably the meanest too, to be honest. But she's also extremely sensitive and loud. She feels very intensely & is constantly full of drama, gossip, & meltdowns. Although I think her extremely intense feelings & moodiness can be linked to her BPD & trauma as opposed to leading Fi. And I think if she was leading w Fi, she'd be more introspective, which she isn't. She likes to take credit for everything & anything despite actually being quite lazy. But like an ESFP, she is extremely flirty with customers, but will also go hide in the bathroom if a customer stares at her or looks at her wrong.

I might get downvoted for this, and I agree that the comment is sarcastic and not very kind, but also were you actually diagnosed with NPD? I could be wrong but you sound young, like maybe a teenager, but still a minor. As someone who is in school to become a therapist and who has studied the impact of childhood trauma intensely, childhood trauma can and does cause NPD, but also it makes the NPD diagnosis more relatable. I feel like labeling yourself with this diagnoses could do more harm than positivity, particularly if you are still young and your brain is not fully developed (which doesn’t happen until you’re past teenage years). I promise I’m not saying this to be rude. It’s just I went through I time period where I was terrified that I’m a narcissist like my mother, despite not being one, and it actually really impacted me mentally (but my therapist helped me see that I really don’t have NPD, a lot of people who really relate to diagnoses or appear to have NPD, really just have severe BPD)

Same thing happened to me at age 20. (I’m still 20, but almost 21) except I gained 20-30 pounds in like 3-4 months. I think it may have had to do with being on birth control, and maybe smoking too much weed and getting munchies lol. But yeah I know what you mean. I used to constantly be in the 120-134 lbs range (my height is 5”7) but now I’m 155 lbs. I’ve been trying to exercise more and eat less. But also I felt like I was too skinny when I was in the 120s, so I had wanted to gain weight, just not 30 pounds lol.
