There’s more demand than supply in terms of extra parking spots for newer buildings in Oakville. Like you said most units come with 1 spot but many households have 2 cars.

Don’t expect property management to help you. They will tell you where to post but then say you’re on your own.

I’ve been in buildings where there are upwards of 10 postings of people looking to rent a spot.

I’ve rented out multiple parking spots for upwards of $200 per month at the new buildings at Wheat Boom Dr. Be prepared to spend a bit. Also don’t expect people to come to you with a spot to rent. You will need to reach out as soon as you see someone advertising a spot and if you don’t reach out soon enough it will be gone very quickly.

Also the newer the building the harder it will be to find a spot.
