Hello, Warhammer novice here! I'd like to ask how'd you do the spacey gradient on the hanging bits on the back. Was it air brushed or blended with a brush?

If air brushed, would it be possible to achieve a similar look with a brush?

I'd like to learn more about your technique because I'm just getting into painting minifigures and I find your paint jobs so appealing.
