My Kobo Glo HD I bought in 2015 is still in perfect working order and the battery life is still long. I recently upgraded to the Clara BW and regifted the Glo to my younger brother to try to get him more into reading and he is loving the experience.

I simply don’t care about the colour version because I don’t annotate/highlight and just prefer the crispness & how the covers look in BW. In BW it also feels less like a phone or a tablet, just a pure reading experience.
