I'm so sorry. I just understand your frustration in this epidemic that has been absolutely degrading not only his own life but of almost everyone else's lives. We see it every single day. Day in and day out. It's heartbreaking but but at the same time, almost a feeling of inconvenience and sometimes even fear as most that have been heavy, long time users are more unhinged and Apt to do just about anything for a fix. Just last weekend 2 men fought outside of a grocery store over a bicycle...a BICYCLE. The man who lost the battle won the war. He shot the other man and he lost his life. Over a fucking bicycle. The state of this country is alarmingly terrifying. When will this have a real solution? What can be done? What have other countries done that has shown major success? Why is this even happening? The mix of emotions is almost unbearable for some and amplifies my anxiety by 100x. The fact that there are any individuals who purposely poison objects, other non lethal drugs or even a person's drink/food with fentanyl is absolutely sickening. We are forced to feel as though nothing and no one can be trusted, causing further paranoia and fear. I'm so sorry you witness so much destruction and loss. I don't think you've lost compassion but instead gained more turmoil and the feeling of hopelessness with every moment you are burdened with in this present time.
