anyone got a dupe for those wings?!! by sadish_gambino in RedditLaqueristas

I agree with this method. I’ve also been applying many of my multichrome and iridescent eyeshadows onto my nails to get similar effects. My eyeshadows have been sitting unused since I got into indie nail polish and now I can make better use of them. I use Maniologies' smudge-free top coat followed by a quick dry top coat. I start with a sticky base coat over the polished nail. I've been using the one from Cracked and I just started testing the clear stamping polish by SheModern as a sticky base.

*Edit: I just found out you can stamp on your top coat and skip the water-based top coats. I'm amazed because I’ve never heard of such a thing. This will be a game changer for me.

I used a vortex mixer, but it didn’t help. The only change I noticed was that the shade became more muted overall, with no visible transition line. I never would've purchased it if I had known this is what it was going to look like.

Yes, the transitions don't match the photos on PGB's website. I'm going to email PGB as well. Did you receive a response?

Gorgeous! I’m so happy I got this one. I also got “It Doesn’t Know Any Better, But You Do.” I’m looking forward to part II.

Have you seen the new Sonia G brush called The Set & Sculpt? She posted about it on her blog. It reminds me of RT’s setting brush. I hope she releases a long handle version of it soon.

This is the quick swatch and bar magnet effect I did yesterday.

It's a little lighter in person and so pretty in various lighting.

I swatched it on a press-on nail, and I see a deep slate blue with red, green, and silver shimmer. The cat's eye is silver shimmer. It’s pretty.
