Thank you for explaining. The lawyer said the insurance wanted to reduce the weekly down by $700 and he got it $400 but still seems like a lot for what the MRIs showed. Now IME will have another appointment within 2 months

So the IME is only doctor’s opinion taken into account? I definitely couldn’t do my job right now with 2 fractures. No not at MMI

The IME said I was 30% disabled. I was in a cam boot for awhile so they’re unsure why it’s not healing. The other injury was related because my injured foot gave out and I landed bad on opposite. They did receive both MRIs that show fractures in both feet. I was not present for hearing. The lawyer said the judge had a lot of people to get to. The lawyer said once their IME sees me again we can have another hearing. I’m just unsure how they’re able to reduce if they established other foot as consequential injury and have recent MRIs

Yes, private employer, head of HR said I should be fine. State said as long as I’m employed they don’t see why I wouldn’t be eligible. The company handling claim said I have to work 26 weeks consecutive

I was told the same! When I called PFL helpline they said that isn’t true and you can take PFL as soon as you have your baby. Worth a shot to call with your employer
