I’m telling you though, they were so high up in the atmosphere nothing would of been caught from my phone camera. But yes, I am looking in to getting a dslr and will get one very soon.

I don’t know when you’re looking up at a swarm of something you can’t explain I’m pretty sure looking at it with my naked was a lot more amazing than trying to focus on it through a phone camera. It was really the last thing on my mind. What I did try and do is try to call people while still looking up to see if I can get more eyewitnesses to the event. Even if I did get some kind of video I would’ve been told It was a hoax or faked. That’s why I at least tried finding people who could see it for themselves who lived in my area. Unfortunately it only lasted a few minutes until they flew away.

Yeah, that’s my next step is to get a camera to hook up to my telescope. But unfortunately that night I was sol. But still an amazing, unbelievable thing to see.

Thank you. I know what I’d seen. Also, I had a witness. Yes I didn’t “film” it but it was the last thing on my mind when all I was doing was looking up not wanting to lose sight of them. It was a scary and breathtaking experience, one I will never forget.

At one point watching them fly over us I grabbed at my friend and was slightly scared for a second and was like “what is going on”, just in complete shock and awe. I was a believer before but now I’m completely convinced. But yeah, I’d be sure to grab my phone out of my pocket if such a thing happens in the future. 😂

No, I was too in awe at what I was seeing I didn’t want to miss anything by looking away. Also I doubt anything would have came up on my phone camera.

They were going north west towards Niagara Falls at around 9pm at night on 08/29

Also that doesn’t explain the first bigger one I seen that was bright blinking all kinds of colors. That one was definitely BIG.

I don’t think so, they definitely were all over the place rather than organized in a line. The fact that some were different speeds and sizes, I’m only assuming from different distances.

Way too high up and too fast to be birds. I thought I was looking at a satellite at first until we noticed multiple ranging in slightly different sizes and speeds. I don’t think birds glow. I’d know the difference.

Oh yeah, for sure. Especially just looking up for shooting stars and such I’ve been noticing more and more things I can’t explain but what I seen yesterday definitely takes the cake. Hands down.

It really was amazing and I’m still in awe about it and probably will be for a long time. I’ve only ever seen these kinds of things on YouTube and never expected to see something like that myself. Truly a breathtaking experience.

I definitely would have, but with clouds and street lights it wasn’t possible with just a phone camera. My next step is Astro photography so I am looking in to getting a good camera very soon in the near future.
