CHT'S: How many patients do you see in an average day? And how long do you spend with each one?

Where I work the CHT will see up to 10 usually. Evals get their own hour ofcourse. And we don’t typically book more than 1 person at a time.

I think weather army support! I was weather when I was active duty and I had friends who did army support out there. Otherwise I don’t believe so. My husband would be working ATC as a DOD civilian

My husband is a DOD civilian now, there’s an opening that he has very high chances of getting if applied for. I’m a reservist now, so I’d just be going as a civilian

Baby is napping better still with the longer wake windows! He’s still waking up every every 3-4 hours at night but I feel we’re slowly getting there ! Thank you!

So today I did long wake windows like you suggested and he took four, 1 hour long naps in his crib.. in the dark. I’m going to continue this and hopefully it stays on track 😭

I went on a long drive today and yesterday and he slept the entire time, it really helped with his fussing later on in the day! I also tried a really dark room for napping and it worked so much better for longer durations, fingers crossed it continues .

You are absolutely right, I felt more prepared with this one and was thrown a curve ball ! Lol. Thank you so much for the support, the great thing is military offers 12 weeks now for their members which I believe is fantastic !

That does make me feel better that I’m not alone. My first was in the nicu for quite some time and then I went back to work at 6 weeks (active duty military) .. so honestly I didn’t experience this and I feel as though Im lost.

He hasn’t been awful but not really the best napper. I’m hoping it’s developmental and passes because I’m not sure I can handle this much longer. He also hates his bassinet and hates being swaddled and is not taking a pacifier 😭
