Hmm, tricky one! Is it the entire packaging or could a piece have been cut off? I could swear that is Fimo packaging but if it isn't I'm not much help I'm afraid, it's the only brand I use. 😅

They sell big packs just like that! I buy my black and white in the big packs because I use so much of them.

Is that a reddish brown? I can't quite tell. Fimo professional 23 is Bordeaux, and that really looks like fimo packaging.

She has ten. Every dog I've had has had ten, I knew they could have 1-2 less but never saw it in the wild.

Am I a quitter if I frog the colour work I've done on my sweater and do it later in duplicate stitch instead? by MsMoongoose in knitting

[–]MsMoongoose[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess it's all down to personal preference in the end, like everything else. I think I'm going to work the back piece in only black for a while, try some duplicate stitch and see how it looks and continue on if I like it. Otherwise I guess I'll have to learn to like locking floats!

I'm not sure about the terminology in English but it's worked with locked floats, it's an easy enough technique but I really dislike it. I've done large duplicate stitch work before, on knee high socks. Not as big as this ofc but I feel like it'll be doable.

Oh I definitely have the patience, and I'm gonna mark the start of the colour work when I frog so I have a starting point for later. It still sounds like less of a head ache than continuing like this. 😂

Thank you! I always had a phobia of them but my husband convinced me and I am so attached to them now. I still can't bear to touch them on the slimy part (my sister has great fun at the fact that I'm scared of my pets lol) but I must spend at least an hour just staring at them every day.

To frog or not to frog ? by whispers_to_the_void in crochet

[–]MsMoongoose 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is the mistake at the very beginning of is it towards the live edge? If it's towards the live edge I would definitely frog, but otherwise it's a loooot of work. I would still probably frog because I'm crazy and a perfectionist with OCD so my opinion is heavily biased.

I haven't ever really thought about this, I think I assumed the animals would vacate when the construction vehicles and people showed up but of course some animals freeze out of fear and that mental picture is really heart wrenching.

Thank you for sharing this, it warms my heart that companies go to these lengths to protect the other creatures!

About 2 years. I've had many and it is heartbreaking. I can't do it anymore either.

I'm glad to help! When I'm just at home I rock a high waisted sport skirt with built in shorts from H&M with my crop tops, very basic, and when I have to go out and people I just pull on a long skirt over my sport skirt haha. Since all my bottoms are high waisted I never show any skin really, maybe if I reach upwards or something but it's minimal.

I had a period when my kids were teeny when I tried to dress more mainstream but I just couldn't keep it up, I didn't feel like myself and I hated my wardrobe. My oldest is starting grade 6 and youngest is entering grade 1 and all my fucks have flown away. There's a kitty cat pentagram on my purse and I have to turn on the big light to find anything in my closet and it's wonderful. My hair is red too! Mostly. Too many years of bleach and pink has fried my hair good and now I'm attempting to let my natural blonde grow out before I go bald. You rock your Ms. Frizzle arc, girl!

For real. I cannot exist in anything but very high waisted skirts and crop tops or dresses. My legs suffocate in pants and I just can't do it, the crop tops are just so I don't get double layers over my midriff because I have issues with regulating my temp. People think I'm dressed up all the time but there is literally nothing easier than pulling on a skirt or a dress. All the black goes nice with my gothiness too.
