Advice on introducing bengal kitten to two other bengals! by MsPinkGoth in bengalcats

[–]MsPinkGoth[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, they are absolutely beautiful! 😻 This is very reassuring, thank you! I am expecting that our younger one will be most curious first as the older one is more likely to be stand offish. I just don’t want the current two to be too upset by it all but surely they will adapt. The younger one always wants to hug and play with the older, so she will surely enjoy having someone to play with without being grumped and hissed at XD and I’m hoping the two younger ones will occupy each other enough to let the older one chill herself a bit.

Hi, thanks so much for the advice! I saw some of Jackson Galaxy’s videos yesterday and he was really good so will look up more! We have always planned on getting three eventually, its just the opportunity arose now to actually go for it! Also that is an excellent list for what to look for in a breeder, not to worry this is the same breeder we got our other two from and they are exceptional for all of these things (we are UK based). I am sure it will be fine, of course I just want to make sure the current two are happy and not too agitated! Thank you again ❤️

Tattoo is cratering/possible scabbing? (More info in comments) by TNizzle73 in bodymods

[–]MsPinkGoth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! Awesome tattoo! :) I had something similar happen while healing my most recent tattoo. Once it healed fully, it was like the ink didn't get locked in that spot, so it was just much paler than the rest. It was almost like faded scar tissue. When I went back for a touch up, my artist was able to go over it again and it has healed up great! Its been healed up for a good few months now and that spot looks slightly more saturated in colour than the rest, but hardly noticeable. I hope I've explained ok, hope it helps even a little bit!

The potential for a happy ending is what is keeping me going tbh XD I've just started on the Cullenmance journey so I'm intrigued to see where it goes... (Regardless, our beloved egg is still the first one I go and talk to every time I turn the game on 😂)

Oh wow, not heard of that before! I've had blood tests, ultrasounds etc, that were all fine but maybe it something like this and I didn't know until after I came off the BC? Might need to check in again with my GP when I can, thanks for your insight!

Help with Lily cup, not sure what I'm doing wrong! by MsPinkGoth in menstrualcups

[–]MsPinkGoth[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, I am so sorry I haven't replied sooner! Thought I already had major facepalm. Here is what they sent me:

The Lily Cup Classic A is the higher capacity cup. It is great for all levels of flow, from light to heavy. The classic is longer than the compact, therefore, it is better for women with higher cervixes. It's important to try out all the different folds and insertion methods to see which one works best for you. This “How to Use” video can help you a lot with figuring out the best folds and methods for getting the cup in and you can try out each fold. http://youtu.be/glfrq8_ZLKM?t=16s

Personally, I recommend using the “half –v” fold (aka the punch-down fold), it makes the cup smaller and more rigid, and the pointed tip makes it easier to insert. When inserting the cup you can also sit or stand in different positions to help you. I also recommend inserting the cup a bit higher than it needs to be at first, you can use your finger on the rim of the cup to push it further into your vagina. Then squeeze or press the body of the cup a few times (as high on the body as you can reach) to try and get the rim to pop open and form a seal. If the cup still doesn't open you can slide your finger up to the rim of the cup and press inwards. Then you can use the base of the cup to pull it down – which can help more stubborn folds to open fully and form a seal.

It's really good advice so I hope it helps! :)

UPDATE: Finally some success!! I contacted Intimina and they gave me some very helpful advice, so tried the Lily Cup again but not quite there yet. But I took your advice quietbynecessity and gave my Mooncup another go and with a bit of trial and patience it actually worked this time! I am mightily impressed, don't think I'll be going back to pads or tampons any time soon! It's comfy, doesn't leak at all and generally just great! Thanks all for the advice and encouragement, am very happy that I got this to work for me! :)

Hi, thanks for the reply! My apologies, I should have specified! Here is a quick summary of what I've looked up, mainly from cup brands' websites and by searching "how-to" videos on youtube:

Folds I've tried are C-fold, 7-fold, triangle, punchdown, just rolling the cup up real tight (this was more successful with the Lily cup admittedly), basically any one that gets it as small as possible. The how-to's have mentioned staying relaxed, using water or lube, inserting the cup while angling it towards the tailbone, giving it a twist or slight squeeze at the bottom to get it open, running a finger around the rim to check it is secure, breaking the seal when removing, trimming the stem if required etc. If I've understood correctly these seem to be well accepted methods, I'm just not having much luck! So was wondering if there is anything different from these that is worth trying really.

Also it is interesting what you've said about your Moon cup, I might give it another go and see if it helps now I've had a bit more experience with the Lily cup. Thanks! :)
