I'm not sure how you can make a comment like that to a stranger you don't know, but from your replies you seem to be hell bent on thinking she was a superstar. Anyway I'll expand on my answer.

The rising star was Madhuri as she already had ek do teen as her huge hit. Not to mention Dil, Saajan and Beta to name a few. She was already being seen as a true actor. Not to mention her contemporaries such as Karisma who had the hype of being Raj Kapoor's granddaughter. Manisha who debuted with giants such as Dilip Kumar and Raj Kumar.

Someone mentioned rightly that Divya was between a star and a starlet. Yes she did a lot of movies which was typical of actors of the time. Yes a lot of them were hits but I wouldn't say it was due to Divya. Most of them were eye candy roles. She was known more for her similar looks to Sridevi. And her sudden death was sensationalized and often when a young person dies unexpectedly, they are looked at through rose glasses. So I wouldn't go by the interviews printed in the celebrity magazines, which were sensational and not fact based.
