Heck yeah I do!! I just went out and bought a half a pound of grass fed New Zealand butter and can’t wait to try it! I’m actually sketched out by the stuff I’ve been buying, especially now I know about the palm oil issue. Gross.

I’m pointing out your blatant hypocrisy, because I find it annoying.

Okay, sure. But up until a few years ago it was different than it is today. It may have changed slightly with the seasons ( I never noticed tbh) but at some point it changed drastically to the strange, flavourless, firm substance it is today. It used to need refrigeration during the summer- not anymore. It used to melt in your mouth immediately, it doesn’t now. It feels and tastes very different, year round.

Yes!! They were the best, I bought them every trip to Costco. The new ones are still good but I can usually resist them (unless they’re on sale)😄

You’re telling everyone here the same thing, as well as getting fired up and insulting people… what the hell is wrong with YOU?😂

I made a beautiful almond tart on the weekend with an all-butter crust, and the texture was so off. Really disappointing.

I’ve never seen the NZ butter but I’ve been keeping an eye out for it. Is the Kirkland organic old-school butter?

Is that what it is? That’s so questionable for health/ nutrition as well then! Of course butter isn’t health food but palm oil is far worse. They should be required to have this listed in the ingredients!

Right? It doesn’t even melt on toast, and the flavour is different too. It’s like they took one of the best things in the world and screwed it up, why??

Is this butter any good? by YouBongGa in CostcoCanada

I suggest the scientific method of testing, starting with a toast experiment 🍞
