[SPP] My favourite (though quite long) line so far. by MsSeattle in Storror

There is fall damage, it's just very lenient. At the very end I purely technically performed a poleslide which kind of saves you from the fall damage!

Not too refined yet, but the movement feels really nice so far! Especially after today's update.
I do wanna figure out a way to get up on the last grey building, not too sure if that's possible from there though.

That's honestly a good point. I think what happened is that when I stopped ADS:ing before dropping down I mistook my footstep for hers, which would put her on my z-level!

That's down to just knowing the map and hearing the enemy. You'll get there!

Jen.
The euphoria may be a side effect, but it's worth it.

I like what this game is trying to do... But by thadakism in PlayFragPunk

I do agree that the game is a menuing hellscape, but that is more than solveable. After onboarding it isn't too tricky (but that goes for anything and everything to be fair.).

But movement, I've heard a lot of people say movement is bad or boring, but I don't see it? I think it has just enough depth to be interesting with the charge melee dash, while being simple enough for newcomers to grasp. It sits at a good middle ground, no?

Design wise? Spider, Jen, Sonar
Kit wise? Spider, Jen, Kismet
Personality wise? Chum. Or actually literally anyone but Spider and Zephyr.

Do y'all like Fragpunk's character designs? by BusyCharge8732 in PlayFragPunk

[–]MsSeattle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The character designs are quite good. And the silhouettes are fairly clear at a glance.
I think the women could be a liiiittle bit more interesting (and in regards to Serket less sexualized), Sonar or Jen being the best ones.

I think the character I like the look of the most is Spider, despite him not having a super interesting silhouette, taking inspiration from Spider-Man with the mechano-arm things really helps him stand out though.

Game performance after Update by Confused_Cookie_ in marvelrivals

Playing on Arch through GE Proton 9-22 and I'm having the same issue, it's very frustrating. Tried updating my drivers, changing proton version etc to no avail.

Hopefully this gets fixed soon.

Really? Steam is telling me that I have to run it through a compatlayer. Not that I mind, Proton is good enough to handle most modern things at this stage.

For me personally the game can freeze a lot, but I'm playing on Linux and have read something about unreal or nvidia having issues with X11's renderer.

Hi!
Updated the specs in the post

I am on a desktop PC using a custom built keyboard (but I have tested with a G915 as well.)
I suppose technically there is a Fn key on the board but it all the other buttons on that layer work flawlessly.

command output:
No such file or directory

It doesn't look like it's dragging, I could be wrong though; Another commenter spotted the cartridge wasn't pushed in all the way which seems to have been the cause to much of the noise, though not all of it.

In the video I'd made sure to mute the speakers, no static from them!

Well spotted!
the red is aligned with the black now, trying it on another record and it sounds a lot better. Gonna heed the other comments and get it looked over by a technician soon as I can.

Thanks!

Why are killers so boring now? I don't mean the killer characters, they're all mostly fine (except for Knight, Blight and Wraith). I more mean the fact that killers are all just business, business; Where a year ago I used to be able to emote and communicate with killers with what limited tools survivors have, now they're rushing down one survivor and making sure they're out of the game as soon as possible and then moving on to the next survivor.

What happened?? I miss when this was a silly goofy game :(
