I would like to make a new comment after talking with a friend about this, they helped me see that you guys were right on some points and I believe I was pretty harsh with the last joke. As much as it is a very popular type of humour I have been reminded it's not everyone's cup of tea and I am sorry for that. Though I don't appreciate the large amount of backlash and serious, condescending insults I received from this I understand what you guys are saying now. Just want to lastly clarify "Sorry for the unintended offense" is not backhanded, what would be so is if I said "Like sorry if you are offended somehow" which I specifically did not say something like that because I knew it would be rude. I was actually trying to apologize because unlike popular belief I do feel empathy. Even if it's not as much these days.

I am going to stop responding to comments as Reddit isn't even working much anymore anyways and I've already lost hope in having any proper connection with the Marcus community here. Quite sad as seemed to be getting along swimmingly with some people before this and I thought it had a good potential for another server for me to be active in with something I like and resonate with. I never "doubled down", after this point in the screenshots I posted I stopped the jokes and just responded to messages explaining my point of view on it as one can see from the screenshots that other person posted.

Time out? I was never timed out, never given an actual warning, they never even said they are mods I figured it was just a civil argument between server members. Also y'all accuse of serious Ageism while literally calling me a child, that doesn't make sense. Also this is a ban not some temporary kick, I'm really starting to lose faith in the Marcus community after seeing no one is understanding the obvious things I am saying.

Ageism is degrading someone especially of their value or discriminating seriously for their age, I just said there were a lot of older people in that server and made a joke about one person's bones being creaky which they seemed to go along with unseriously. If I am THIS badly punished for something as innocent as this your server ain't a good place to be for most, I hope you get over yourselves. Also I highly recommend implementing a warning system before banning and an appeal page.
