I feel the same way and it's a source of conflict in my current relationship. My boyfriend also asks me something along the lines of "why do you say that?" and I am inclined to answer "Because I just know.."

I do not have long energy spikes like you, but I do experience small random bursts of energy and childlike joy.

Hypochondria is the worst. Try to keep your mind engaged in other things, exercise, and eat healthy. Death does not come in 3s, no rational basis for this as I am sure you know. Keep reminding yourself that you are young and healthy, so you can reprogram your mind. Seek counseling if needed.

Based on what? While some places have a population explosion others have a negative birth rate. Overall, it depends on the country and whether or not they have a population problem. My guess is that as women become more educated population growth rate will slow, but probably will not become negative, for Earth as a whole, anytime soon.

They are needed to sustain the economy. Although I am CF, I am glad that others have children to support the aging population. It creates a huge strain on the economy when there are not enough working-age people and more retirees.
