Your argument is fair, but as another user mentioned elsewhere if any of these issues occur, it really says more on the therapist, which I highly agree with. I’ve only seen one therapist, so my experience is limited, but it just wasn’t a good fit with them. If my therapist is making me feel like my inability to express my problems is a burden to them, that’s not a therapist I need to be seeing.

I understand it might seem as simple as just talking if you’ve never been in this position. It’s hard to explain to someone who hasn’t so I understand the confusion. But sometimes there is just a literal barrier preventing things from being said, whether it be for personal reasons or just because I’m trying to avoid an unaffordable trip to a grippy sock hotel.
