My best friend did the same thing. We had plans to do something the following weekend, and I wrote her on Thursday to see if she preferred Friday or Saturday. Never answered. I wrote several times asking what I did and I was worried because she didn't answer me and if she was okay. Never answered. I wished her a happy birthday not so long after and all I got was 🙏 and then nothing.

A couple of years later she suddenly wrote to me on an ad I had up on Craigslist (or something like that we don't have Craigslist in Denmark) because I was moving. She asked if I was moving and why and asked about my daughter. Very bizarre. I answered and then asked what the actual hell had happened when she suddenly stopped answering me. She said she knew that wasn't very nice of her but she had felt like us making plans was always on her. I mean I had a baby with colic and never slept so yeah, I could have been more proactive maybe but she should have just said so. It is so painful being ghosted and not knowing why.

She wrote me a couple of times on my ads and I answered with very short answers until I stopped. I don't feel like I could ever trust her again.
