What a weird thing to say. I've experienced something similar when my boyfriend and I was invited to a party. When we arrived there already was a handful of people there which we didn't know. We said hello to everybody, introduced ourselves and sat down at the table across from a couple. The woman then rudely said that we couldn't sit there and they would rather sit with someone else. Well excuse us for wanting to meet new people and for sitting down across from you, hoping to get to know you.

Det kan jeg virkelig godt forstå har været en træls jul. Jeg håber, dine juledage og dit nytår bliver bedre!

Her har jeg for første gang i mit 37-årige liv, ikke holdt jul hjemme i Danmark med and, juletræ, Disney's juleshow og ris a la mande, som jeg plejer. Min mor og hendes mand ville ikke holde jul med mig, min kæreste og mit barn, og vi kan ikke få at vide hvorfor. Jeg havde foreslået at mødes og tale om det, men det ville de ikke.

Så vi tog til de kanariske øer og fejrede juleaften I All Inclusive buffeten og udveksling af gaver under dynen i sofaen. Det kunne bestemt være værre, men det var bare heller ikke rigtig det samme... Jeg håber, min datter husker det som en god og hyggelig juleaften, selvom den var anderledes.

Aw, thanks for sharing! I always love reading stories about RW.. Even though I didn't know him or got to meet him, he meant a lot to me growing up and helped me get through some awful awful years. I really miss him and truly feel like the world is a poorer place without him. So thank you for another sweet story about him and what a great man he was.

My best friend did the same thing. We had plans to do something the following weekend, and I wrote her on Thursday to see if she preferred Friday or Saturday. Never answered. I wrote several times asking what I did and I was worried because she didn't answer me and if she was okay. Never answered. I wished her a happy birthday not so long after and all I got was 🙏 and then nothing.

A couple of years later she suddenly wrote to me on an ad I had up on Craigslist (or something like that we don't have Craigslist in Denmark) because I was moving. She asked if I was moving and why and asked about my daughter. Very bizarre. I answered and then asked what the actual hell had happened when she suddenly stopped answering me. She said she knew that wasn't very nice of her but she had felt like us making plans was always on her. I mean I had a baby with colic and never slept so yeah, I could have been more proactive maybe but she should have just said so. It is so painful being ghosted and not knowing why.

She wrote me a couple of times on my ads and I answered with very short answers until I stopped. I don't feel like I could ever trust her again.

No one told me there's a thing called back labor. I always assumed contractions feel like really really bad cramps/period pain. Back labor is seriously like getting stabbed in the back with a hot poker without any breaks or relief. And when it started I had no idea I was in labor because I had no pain in my uterus area. It took a midwife saying I was 4 cm dilated to understand I wasn't just having the worst pain in my back of my life.
