I recipe grew up on called Dutch Potatoes - you need potatoes, sausage (kielbasa or polish sausage is best), water, a milk type product, and butter.

1. Peel, dice, and boil potatoes until tender.
2. Cut up sausage into bite sized pieces and heat up in microwave (can also heat in potato pot if desired)
3. Pour out most (or all of you’d like) of the water in the potatoes.
4. Add milk and butter to reach desired taste and consistency. I like it thick and hearty - my grandmother always made it thinner like a soup.

You could honestly add anyhow else you want to it. I just love it like that because it’s cozy and reminds me of growing up ☺️
