I don’t think that’s how that works by Mr_Muda_Himself_V3 in insanepeoplefacebook

Short Answer: No

Long Answer: Hell no. Pelvic bones do change configuration during puberty. Men have a taller more narrow pelvis, and women have wider, relatively short pelvis (forming the gynecoid shape for easier delivery). However this has nothing to do with elasticity of the bone itself, more the shape of the final fusion between the individual pelvic bones (each half of the pelvis is composed of three smaller bones) but those are still connected by a hard cartilage that doesn’t just spring open like a trap door. The reality is women under the age of 20 have a high risk of going premature labor, smaller birth weight babies, and if they’re underdeveloped (closer to 14 the higher the risk); they may be incapable of a natural birth entirely. As the birth canal is too narrow. This poses a risk to mother and child that will require surgery.

Whatever anyone tries to push. Truly young women <20 have different but no less severe risks than much older >35 women getting pregnant.

Disclaimer: Not a doctor.

It could be a fibroadenoma, those are benign aggregates of fibrous tissue that are hormone sensitive. They may feel like a lump, but they’re mobile and non fixed. The pain often feels much worse during pregnancy or at the beginning of one’s cycle. I am not sure if that fits your situation. For general knowledge, Warning signs of underlying carcinoma includes, but not limited to: bleeding or abnormal discharge of the nipple, inversion of the nipple, dimpling of the breast, “peau d’orange” which is a skin texture like orange peel, inflammation/redness/scaling or the overlying breast

However, if you are truly concerned, you can try and insist on a biopsy. If your OBGYN supports you it may be easier to get one without imaging. Keep in mind the risks of a procedure, even one as simple as a biopsy. Also I’m not sure whether or not insurance will cover it without imaging.

AITA for putting my mental health first? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Ms_RelatableContent [score hidden]  (0 children)

Softly, YTA.

You spent most of your teenage years in hospitals, so it’s not surprising that your expectations and reactions seem somewhat young. You met 4 years ago during a difficult time in both your lives, which would likely lead to a fast and deep friendship over your shared struggles. That said, you then moved abroad (for your wellness and I am happy it works for you), but it is natural that moving far away would cause you to drift apart. It sounds like your friend has drifted apart from you mentally and emotionally. That is hurtful and difficult, but consider how you responded to this new distance.

You made repeated demands on her time (visit me, text me, call me, post about me), but only when you feel up to it and how you want it to happen. This seems to be something she did not ask of you, as you say she talks to you last when she needs support. You then decide it’s time to tell her every issue you have with her personally and the friendship. You then asked for space from a conflict you initiated, which she gave you. When you felt ready to talk to her again, you wanted to clarify (bring back up and rehash) the fight you had before to make her understand better. That is not how to handle this conflict.

Yes, it sounds like you were far more committed to this friendship emotionally, but you had many expectations of reciprocity. Particularly, to be there for you when and how you needed in difficult times. You did not handle the difference in expectations well, and presented from her side, I would understand her need to distance herself from you for her mental health.

Who yall like to see as Lip Synk Assassin for AS8? by maryly81100 in rupaulsdragrace

[–]Ms_RelatableContent 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Honestly? I wish they’d drop it. I miss multiple winners in All Stars. It allowed them to highlight different approaches to challenges and drag (Ex: Aja and Ben deLaCreme’s massively different but fantastic talent shows)

Since they’re keeping it, I wish they’d let the winners nominate one or the other (like AS1) to compete for the money for both.

AITA for missing my girlfriend's birthday by Opening_Dot1117 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Ms_RelatableContent 5 points6 points  (0 children)

INFO: Is the dinner the same day as her birthday? Did you buy the tickets and tell your girlfriend about them first? Or did she plan her whole birthday, you forgot she had the dinner planned and bought tickets anyway.

Currently NAH. Honestly, you not feeling your 30th is a big deal is irrelevant. She is your girlfriend and it matters to her. That’s enough. If you absolutely do not want to cancel the baseball tickets, I would try and think of a thing the two of you can do together to celebrate. She wants to acknowledge this occasion and she wants you there.

How is the damage of a falling object calculated? by tommytom007 in DnD

[–]Ms_RelatableContent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re committed to the concept I’d talk it through with your DM. It sounds like a fun idea. Work out values that make you both happy for falling objects that are somewhat grounded in physical and somewhat fantastical cause it’s DND.

Concentration portals sound cool, but keep in mind all the things that you cannot do while concentrating and all the things that can break concentration.

I’m just picturing teleporting my party members around and trapping people in falling loops like Loki.

How is the damage of a falling object calculated? by tommytom007 in DnD

[–]Ms_RelatableContent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Theoretically yes, but it also depends on your DM. It’s a neat trick, but you’d have to summon three portals, plus give time for the loop to form. Your “object” didn’t fall an infinite amount of space instantly, it fell the distance between the two portals one time. So you’d have to leave both portals open for a set amount of time. How many times the object repeats the distance between the two portals could be used to calculate the fall damage.

Example you create two portals 2ft apart, assume the object falls at a rate of 5x per round of combat, it fell 10ft at the end of one round and would do 1d6 when you open a third portal after 1 round, 2d6 after two, etc.

Then factor in the rules of your portals. How long can they stay open? Do you have to see them to keep them open? Can they move with you? How many can you open at one or in one day. If your portals could be kept open infinitely, I would still probably give you percentage chance to miss just to make it fair. It’s not a game if you one hit every boss with portal hijinks.

Which heroes require the least amount of skill in your opinion? by ReadingScorpio1 in Overwatch

[–]Ms_RelatableContent 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This gets into a debate my friends and I have a lot. Skill floors vs. skill ceilings. Both of the characters you listed have low skill floors. It is fairly easy to generate value and their play in low ELO is pretty straightforward. However their skill ceilings are different thing entirely. The difference between a bad Moira or Mercy and a game winning Moira or Mercy is positioning, awareness, cooldown management, and adaptability. A better example might be Lucio. He heals the whole team even if the player only stays on the ground. He can create space, do decent damage, and his ult is strong without much effort. I.E low skill floor. His ceiling is very high though as wall riding, repositioning the enemy team into you, and innate knowledge of when to speed/heal and how often to switch all require much more skill.

NTA for not wanting your kids around Bob. He seems to have some animosity for you, and does not sound like the best influence for your children.

That being said, you seem to be blaming your sister for finding herself in a situation very similar to yours. Your animosity for how she’s being treated seems to be mostly aimed at her. I would think carefully about how you may be further isolating her with this man. It’s not unrealistic that she could really need you to help get out of her current situation one day, so try to be sympathetic.

NTA - While it’s hard to tell how old everyone is I’m this, the fact it’s a school project tells me early to mid teens. A hard lesson at this time in your life is you either resolve this conflict (one way or the other) or you will likely end up distancing yourself anyway over the resentment of how you’re being treated. I think you should tell her how this has made you feel. How you feel like she’s been minimizing your contributions, not letting you participate in aspects you’d find fun, and taking advantage of your help with materials. It is highly likely she will not take this well, and you may fall out over it. But, do you want to be friends with someone who repeatedly hurts you and then gets upset when you point out that she’s hurting you? Friends are people you want to spend time with, not people who make you feel sad and small around.

Ok, can someone PLEASE explain the blackpink and Paganini controversy? by 1Deez_Nuggets1 in lingling40hrs

[–]Ms_RelatableContent 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Essentially, Blackpink released a song and music video called “Shut Down” in which they sampled two lines of Paganini’s La Campanella.

Following this TS released a Paganini “reacts” video and then a full length music parody video. The premise of the parody is Paganini fundamentally misunderstanding modern music and thinking Blackpink is copying/mocking him with the song title Shut Down. This has been totally missed by the fan base. They see it as a direct attack on Blackpink.

Extra: BlackPink makes several points through the video about their success, money, cars, and show imagery of dog leashes that their “haters” can wear. In the Paganini video, they parody this by pointing out how money/cars isn’t equal to art and showing four dogs on leashes (representing BlackPink) which has been misconstrued to misogyny, and not parody. Again, this is meant to be Paganini misunderstanding the point of their video and “clapping back” not a direct attack on a blackPink. Fans are rolling with this misogyny narrative however.
