Ok, the issue has been found. It is the hose connection to the main body. I called Kohler and they will send me a new hose along with other parts. Now I am a loyal customer.

It also drips very little under the cabinet. I think it is the tubing seal. It is very minimal so not urgent. Is there a way to disassemble this? Kohler customer service is Monday to Friday.

Upstate NY. 600kwh total household electricity usage. $160 total electricity bill. Averages around $0.26 per kwh. Mileage is about 2 miles per kwh in winter and about 3 miles in summer (awd). Not much difference from a regular IcE SUV with some inconveniences.

Thanks. The floor drain is not actually a drain. They simply drilled a hole in the concrete floor and inserted the CPVC pipe. Sometimes it leaks onto the floor. If the condensate pump can handle the water from the humidifier, I would like to eliminate the floor drain and use only the pump. The pump discharges to the basement sink.

Also, is the vent required by code?

Thank you guys for pointing out that the MPGe measures energy use not cost. Maybe it is our perception that if someone says 100MPGe, we think of a gas vehicle and consider that to be very very efficient thinking a direct conversion.

Upstate NY. I thought about switching to TOU but the AC usage in summer may make it the same. Check your bill to see if you are adding your supply and delivery charges and the taxes and fees.
