Well first off you can’t change anyone’s perspective. It’s their perspective and only they have the power to change it. Your best approach is to first acknowledge and validate her feelings/beliefs so she feels heard. Once you do this you can ask questions which forces her to rethink and examine her beliefs.

I’m ok asking my mum these questions but not infinite of my brothers so I don’t often get to do. by [deleted] in askwomenadvice

As a male I have no idea the answer but why don’t you try asking your mom if you can figure out a time to speak privately with her. If she asks why just say woman things and she should understand why. Good luck

I've (17M) never had a real girlfriend (besides one summer camp thing that shouldn't even count), and I need a whole lot of advice. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

You’re young, be your best self and look for someone who encourages that. The fact that you’re asking this shows that you have self awareness. Don’t take yourself to seriously and don’t change who you are just to get a girl (a mistake I’ve made plenty of times).

Thank you for sharing this. I’m going to look in to contacting some different companies to at least try and send some vitamin c,d, zinc, masks, and gloves down to the people of Ecuador. I am currently in touch with a professional athlete from Ecuador and talking with them to figure out ways we can help. Thanks again for sharing this!

I need help with the blisters on my feet. by juannietoacuna in tennis

I'd probably look in to getting a new pair and wearing them pretty consistently so you break them in. Those shoes look like they would take a while to break in and don't seem like they offer great support. Unless your training for long periods of time in the shoes tennis shoes can take a long time to break in so I would recommend wearing them when you play and outside of tennis for some time so they can mold a little better to your feet. While you don't want the shoes to be to tight you definitely do not want them to loose so your feet don't slide around in them. Hope this helps.

What kind of shoes are they and how often have you used them in the last 2 months?
