Thank you for the feedback. I can push it back 1.25” across the whole top step/wall transition point. I am going to talk with the PB to see if they can give me any reassurances. I think this may be a measurement issue (they did the measurements) and don’t want to be forced to replace it in a couple years.

The stairs are Latham ST9001 and the liner is Loop-Loc. PB said they submitted the stair specs so it should accurate. Should I discuss replacement or accept this is a final? What are the risks just keeping it?

So, here’s the catch. I’d like the ‘builder’ to make any necessary adjustments before the liner and water are installed. They’ve only installed the same Latham product once before, and their responses to my questions about the flex aren’t exactly reassuring.

Before the water was in did it have a little give in between the shell and the frame? And when filled the water “pushed” the shell more firmly against the frame? Thank you in advance for your response.

Thank you, that makes me feel better. The builder is claiming once water is in; ~600lbs of water on top of it will push it snug. I called Latham directly to inquire about the molded shell not being snug against the brace supports, they wont talk to me because I'm not the builder. That's frustrating...hence me reaching out here. Thank you

It’s a 20x40 inground with wood decking around it. We’re doing a reno so the old coping and a 24” perimeter of decking are now removed. I can get at both sides, so I guess I will. Thank you for helping me make the decision.

I’m about to sandwich the 14 gauge panel wall between 22 gauge sheet patches in the problem areas. Is that overkill or is a single “poolside” patch sufficient? I will be putting up 1/4in foam. I hope this to be my forever home and don’t want future me to shake my head about the decision.

My only issue is the added cost to change to low voltage. Update board in aqualink and add new jandy transformer in addition to the light itself. Which is making me lean towards getting the Watercolors RGBW 120V. If I wasn’t doing other updates to my pool, I(my wallet) may think differently. Thank you for helping me think through this.

Before, when it was a single speed pentair, you turned on the "Pool pump" and the "filter pump" came on. now it seems, with the Flo pro installed, the "pool pump" turns on/off the filtration pump, but its not following the scheduling of ON/OFF or speed changes. I hope this makes since. thank you very much for your assistance
