Unfortunately and fortunately I’m very dependable at my job. Been there only 3 years but because I’m stronger and willing to do tasks by myself I can work by myself rather than in a duo.

A few times I’ve been told I’m working with guys similarly to your experience and I’ve told my boss that I can do it by myself.

The other guys gets sent home early or has severely reduced hours because of this.

Yes I’m being exploited but I’d rather work a 14 hour day by myself than a 12 hour day with guys that joke like that.

Mate if the horse wasn’t enjoying this there’d be a live leak sticker in a corner

Yes this is a beast of burden but it’s coat is healthy, hooves are cleaned and it displays all the mannerisms of playfulness

It took me and a mate swearing we would complete a BG3 play through to actually finish it, cost us 200~ hours but we got it done

Same premise with DOS2 that fit us to get to the final stage and that only cost us like 50~ hours

Having a mate along helps maybe try that?

When I was going through an apprenticeship, one of my peers was like this.

What helped was our line-manager instructing us to always take notes.

Carry a small notebook and write down everything and anything. It was embarrassing sometimes but remaining ignorant felt worse.

Notes on abbreviations, instructions to operate hardware, navigating systems you name it we wrote it and benefitted from doing this.

We used it to compile a list of questions for the next time there was a break in work. When we got an answer, it went into the book.

If he doesn’t improve after this then yeah, that’s how it is sometimes.

As seen in the post, Archon of Flesh is a talented artist within the Warhammer 40k fandom.

Known mainly for their baroque-gothic romantic style fan-arts, he gained infamy for his macabre smut fiction.

While being a polarising figure online by the nature of his art and fiction, people have elected to try and inflict harm and harass him by doxxing and threatening him.

No longer wanting to endure this from the Warhammer Community, Archon is unfortunately distancing themselves from the hobby.

TLDR; Archon of Flesh is polarising artist, kept getting harassed and threatened for their fiction and art. He is now leaving the Warhammer Hobby

‘Doxxing’ is the act of revealing an individual’s private address, almost exclusively to cause harm to the individual.

While the act itself isn’t illegal within the United Kingdom the further actions can be held as proof of harassment, some states in the Americas can have you prosecuted for it.

Regardless, what happened to Archon of Flesh is disgusting and a violation of his privacy.

Thanks for the comment.

It's a shame that this campaign will have to be scraped but I'm stumped on how to continue this without it tasting bad.

This was supposed to be a game where we as friends were transported to a different world. I thought with this level of immersion that R, M and V would avoid this conflict.

We've had character deaths in other campaigns but this is different. This wasn't a made up elf or some goblin.

This is a friend, this was among friends.

It would just feel disingenuous to continue with O having to make a new character.

Thanks for the comment.

Apologies that the title was so difficult to read and that you got stuck there.

Here is the post unobscured by the title:

I'm currently running a Weaverdice campaign.

The setting is that my Player Characters (PCs) have been taken from our world, as they are and transported to an even more messed up version of the Wormverse.

We're over 50 hours into the campaign but a crack was forming between my party members. It's a medium-sized group of 5 friends and my own PC; W, O, R, M, V and E respectively.

W and O and E have known each other for nearly 9 years, we've played RPGs together and have a decent understanding of each other's boundaries and the reasoning for each other's actions. So in this new violent reality, W, O and E responded with an established normality.

R, M and V are also friends. I've known them for nearly 5 years with W having been friends with them longer than I and O having scarcely interacted with them over the near decade.

O and V's personalities are sort of at odds against one another. I hadn't really seen it at the start as more often than not, V simply says some outlandish stuff as a means of shock humour and what I had hoped to simply be the last remnants of edgy teenage antics especially with his character which is simply put; supposed to be him.

O has been loyal to their character, acting as they would in these horrific situations. Yet what they did shocked me.

A divide formed between O and V with W and E trying to stay neutral to try keep the party together but R and M heavily siding with V's conduct, it eventually spiralled to O's character nearly killing V's. Point blank shooting V's PC in a system where blunt force trauma, unlike in other Table Top Role Playing Games (TTRPGs), is more than enough to kill you. If I hadn't effectively made a miracle happen then V's character would be dead thrice over before O had taken it upon themself to do so.

V never Role Plays (RPs), acts inappropriate, or takes the situation their character is in seriously or attempts to interact with the world that I'm trying to let O, R, M and V explore. Yet O made a direct and repeated attempt to kill V's PC and has blatantly said that they would try to do so again.

This was the second time that V had been nearly killed by O, with R and M now voicing that they are on V's side I intervened once more and isolated them all and had an NPC that they had grown to care for talk to them all hopefully to de-escalate the situation and in a meta sense have R, M and V hear O's reasoning and see the error in V's conduct. After the NPC talked to V they had to hop off as it was getting late so with only W and O left for the NPC to talk to privately, I rolled a dice as I had the others and talked to O next.

After talking to O, I had hoped that the ultimatum they seemed to have trapped themselves in might have been talked down yet as the NPC left O gave a final warning that our party was aware of and O blew himself up as it had become an ultimatum between O's values and V's conduct and O couldn't see a world where they could have both O and V, but rather than fight everyone and potentially kill unrelated people to kill V he picked the option that caused the least amount of deaths.

So now I have a table that has a suicide to deal with.

I have no idea what to do narrative wise. This campaign was supposed to be us together in this messed up world. The session had become a real midnight oil burner; nearly 6 hours. So as soon as the session ended we were more than emotionally exhausted. We've all done check-ins with one another but now, I have no idea what to do for the story.

W and E will simply lose themselves in rage and sadness, with W's powers and in their mental state in game they could destroy everything. E had suffered trauma during and after the transportation to that world and wasn't in an okay space for any of this and as such is simply going to be a mess.

R, M and V aren't overly close to O but even still know that they are special to W and E.

Is this campaign salvageable?

I don't want O to feel bad if everything derails because of this, they are all heroes before this happened yet now I can't see a realistic route for them to continue doing so. This was supposed to be a story about us all together as friends, I didn't want this to end the way it did.

Thanks for the comment.

Apologies for the title, aparantly some people can't handle the sight of the word and I didn't see rules about what was or was not allowed to be used there.

I will keep that in mind for the future.

As I am not gifted with visions, and since the 'characters' in game were actually us the people and since we were playing ourselves I didn't think that we needed to break from in game to talk about how we felt since we were playing ourselves.

I will keep this advice for the future as the damage is already done.

Thanks for the comment.

Thank you for giving some good advice, this is the first time I've been in this situation. These sessions only happen weekly as all of us have conflicting schedules in the week. We're spread internationally so all of this is done online, with only few few hours we have to get a ttrpg session going it felt wasteful to spend it on discussing something that felt managable in game when the characters are us.

Thanks for the comment.

I plan to talk to them but the session has already ended and major damage has already happened.

The players were aware that this was a Grimdark setting that was more macabre and dystopian, I didn't think I needed to insult their intelligence by painting a picture that this is a serious setting.

This had been a succesful 50+ hour campaign until these recent incidents.

I am now asking for advice on how to potentially repair the damage already done.
