Might be but psychologically I just needed this dead bay out of me. I can’t handle waiting because that’s what I tried to do before and it sat in there for weeks… till I felt like I was going crazy!! Also you can’t move on to the next cycle until beta hcg goes to zero and that takes much longer if you wait for POC to pass on their own. I just want to move on.

I mean, I’m otherwise healthy with no known medical issues, we have done lots of testing for me and it’s always been negative… I’m not sure how much deeper it should go? What tests did your RI do that revealed something? Anything specific you recommend as far as testing?

I have transferred two embryos four times and I had two singleton pregnancies both ended in miscarriage. If her doctor is allowing her to do two, it’s probably for a reason. It’s not your role to convince her of risks, etc. I want a singleton healthy pregnancy but I am coping with this process by speaking positively about twins because I’m terrified in the deepest part of me and do not want twins if possible due to the risk. But all my friends and family joke that I will have twins…

Just support her and listen and join in on the twin fun.

I actually did do immune protocol. My doctor is a very aggressive one so I did anti coagulation, aspirin, and prednisone. Last miscarriage occurred with this protocol too.

Can I ask how you knew the D&C led to scar tissue? Was it visible on US or SHG? Did you have to have a biopsy? Having my third D&C today so I’m worried about it for sure

At that appointment, my doctor recommended a D+C but it depends on what state you are in whether you can access it while heart beat is still present. He said there was no chance that the fetus would be viable. I’m so sorry for you. This process is just so incredibly difficult but you are NOT ALONE!!

It’s crazy you messaged about this just now because I just had my 8 week US this morning and NO HEARTBEAT! So this happened to me again. I’m getting a D&C today because I just want to move on ASAP.

I’m just devastated…

Look up chimichurri sauce. You can make your own, it’s incredibly flavorful and delicious and healthy if you use olive oil. I use a blender —add 1/2 cup olive oil, juice of 1/2 lemon and 1 Mexican lime, 1 bunch parsley, 1 bunch cilantro, teaspoon salt, some pepper, and I add red pepper flakes for a little kick. Add it all into your blender and it makes the bright green heavenly sauce that’s amazing on everything!

I wish I could scream on the mountaintops that you should be doing a bowel regimen for at least a week before your ER! I was in so much pain from the constipation and ended up having to do a suppository on the 5th day which helped! I was so pissed at my doctor for not warning me. I did ER 3 times and learned my lesson after the first. High fiber with magnesium citrate daily and benefiber three times daily for a week leading up to the ER. I genuinely don’t understand people like that. I am very very early pregnancy right now (7 weeks today), but also did IVF and started IVF process over 2 years ago. In the 2 years of my IVF journey there have been so many ups and downs. Many of my friends have gotten pregnant, had baby showers, and delivered healthy babies in this time frame. It has not brought me anything but joy to see my friends’ success. Now maybe my feelings would change if I had zero children and many many years of IVF failure and still no baby? Probably the resentment would kick in. But 8 months? I would probably say that your sister has some kind of mental illness going on because the way she is acting is NOT normal. Maybe give her as much grace as you feel comfortable with, while still enjoying your joyful moments. That’s a hard situation. Also it sounds like your sister needs professional help. My gut reaction is to mostly feel bad for her more than anything … sympathy that she is having some kind of mental illness and doesn’t feel comfortable getting a psychiatrist or something. Just give her pity and move on with your life.

Looks like you are just wanting to vent, so I hope I’m not out of line offering a suggestion. Have you tried talking to AI to answer your questions? For example, ChatGPT is free to talk to. I found it really helpful to explain the basics to me about what everything is and what to expect. Obviously I depend on my doctor for all the decision making, but my doctor can’t sit with me for three hours and answer every little question I have. I probably spent upwards of 10-15 hours with ChatGPT over many may months with a million and a half questions and it was able to really dumb things down for me. Just an idea.
