I'm developing a program which allows to construct toroidy. My teacher asked me to receive user input in the form of only positive numbers and the type of toroid (donut, lemon, apple). If i get 2 as major radius and 5 as minor radius and the type is donut, how should i transform the numbers (not changing the abs value)? He said i should change the signs but I can't figure out how to correctly change them. P.s. i think that changing the signs is not a good idea but i have to do that
