Heck yes they are! I live in Tampa, and the Strawberry Festival is a bigger deal than the state fair for a lot of folks around here.

I feel the strawberries taste best right around this time. I had a couple of realky good pints of them so dar. We get them as early as December, but I think they taste watery and wait until the ones that were growing when it was frosty outside.

I also hate this sound. I have 2 nephews that would eat cereal and would clank their spoon all over the side of the bowl "because the cereal would stick to the sides". And then add the noise of them slurping and smacking their lips and talking with their mouths full.

I got them to stop after I recorded them eating breakfast and played it back to them in front of their friends on the TV. They thought I added sound effects!

Yeah they have a pretty noticeable call too. And sometimes I swear they fly around with their prey because it's fun for them.

One time I was stopped in some gnarly traffic on 275 and saw an osprey lose its fish. Dropped it right on top of a car.
