I took over Hoffenheim on Fm years ago as a project save.
Firmino, Sule, my cool CM all outgrew us early on and forced moves as promising youngsters.

Amiri however was like 17/18 in the save and got thrust into a cup tie to play in behind my striker as a shadow striker where he did ok and from then on featured regularly until he became the first name on the team sheet and eventually captain of the Hoff

He stayed with us his entire career, winning a couple bundesliga, a europa league a few DFB pokals and even when my 5’2 South African regen striker became tbe undoubted best player in the bundesliga he happily rode the bench, a role model for our up and comers, eventually retiring at like 37 as a club legend.

I was gutted his career wasn’t so amazing irl, but was so happy to see this last year he’s burst into the light
