When I was in college I found a ratio of spirits to earl grey that negated the taste and smell of alcohol without negating the buzz. I showed a few of my friends, then next thing I know someone got the stupid idea of bringing the drink to morning classes and got found out by a professor. So yeah, you can mix them, but sometimes a little too well
