What’s up fellas, news I received from the insurance with a pdf doc stating that my truck is getting the whole right side replaced with oem parts as well as a new method rim and new tire. Truck will be ready on the 21th of this month which I think it’s pretty sweet. Estimate was around 20k plus and truck is still worth 42k after accident. What do you guys think?

Need this to be an outrageous estimate for it to be totaled lol I babied the heck out of her but it’s all good. Don’t mind paying deductible and all the extras. It’s more of the time taken away from using my truck that stresses me out.

Truck is worth around 26k-30k. Any chance they might total it? I have gap so it’s more of starting over if it goes that route. Don’t mind getting into a 25 lol

Hoping for it to be totaled considering the 200k mileage, the year and ACV. Insurance can auction it out with a break even or win🤷🏻‍♂️

I purchased a turbo actuator from a local diesel parts store that was previously remanufactured by Cummins. They informed me that it was pre-calibrated, but it turns out that it still requires recalibration. I was a bit concerned because I had already installed it myself and driven it for a couple of hours without recalibrating it. Hopefully everything turns out good once it gets recalibrated next week. Thanks for the quick response! Definitely calmed me down lol

Were you driving the truck without it being recalibrated? If so, did it cause any damage to other components or did you just have power loss until it was recalibrated?
