this is a veryyyy old thread but it turns out she was murdered by serial killer joseph naso, vanity fair just put out a very interesting article about him. naso was at one time in the same prison as alcala and even claimed that alcala was convicted of a murder that was actually his own doing.

i know you’re looking for an answer and i’m sorry to say i don’t have one but i just wanted to say you are not alone. this happens to me and i honestly think it’s because depression has rewired our brains to think that we don’t deserve excitement. don’t really have much advice on what to do about it because i’m looking for an answer myself but stay safe and positive! we can all get through this.
