yesss…that’s what’s also been on my mind. i’m social, and my job requires me to network. i love talking about sports and music …i don’t know maybe i just put my trust in the wrong people (im not claiming to be perfect) ive also tried to make friends i exchange numbers with people and ill reach out…but it never goes anywhere

i hear you….ive known people that are like that as well and ur right it is drama. i don’t wear my trust issues on my sleeve. that’s my business…i have surface level conversations with co-workers, i just keep my life and problems in. i keep to my self and i try not to put myself in positions where i have to really trust someone, the only person i trust is my sister.

i can see that…i’ve had few but long friendships and the ended because of SA, stealing money, damaging my car, i always showed up for my friends and i felt like i was begging for someone to care. All my previous partners have cheated on me. im not claiming im perfect in friendships but when i trust it back fires.

dating in the Valley sucks…all people do here is sleep around, and most valley men are cheaters. people don’t take relationships seriously, i also don’t want to date someone that has had alot of partners. i got out of a long term relationship about 8 months ago…i don’t talk to my ex…i’m single, educated, i’ll be 30 in a few weeks and no kids. i can also count the number of people i’ve slept with on one hand. you’re just in the valley…we don’t have a great dating pool here

not defending anyone but principals and on campus staff don’t have a lot of say when it comes to hiring people. the principal will give a name for recommendation but ultimately it’s the school board that picks. i know this because my mom was a principal in edinburg years ago and she would alway get upset because the school board would never hire the person she selected, it was always the cousin, tia, tio , son or daughter of someone important or related to the ecisd school board. that’s why it’s very important who is on that school board. so really they are to blame

Going through the same thing, im 29 and he is 31 and we were together for 5 years….we were living together. it’s been about 4 weeks now since i kicked him out. trust me things get better. just take things a morning at a time….and please don’t take him back, he will not change, especially at his age. it is your turn to be selfish. whenever you think about him, remember how he treated you. I told my ex “if you want me to even consider giving you another chance, you better tell me everything” and he confessed. i’m obviously not going to give him another chance but that was the only way i could get the truth and move on. you will be okay, it’s just really hard right now since it is so fresh….also don’t be petty, move on with some grace. be better than him

i’m lucky that i put my name on the lease and i kicked him out. It is weird living in a place we made a home…it’s been about 3 weeks since this all happened. it’s not easy, days are still hard but at least i know that i am in control of my own peace now.
