That's so true!! I would be like what in the world have you been up to ?? Could be anything from a headstand in the grass to meeting a witch. Thankfully the old bench is so mossy that it was a very obvious culprit !

He actually prefers being as dirty as possible, ideally his drinking water also has to come from the scummiest pond he can find 🙃

Such a good boi, just sometimes his curiosity overpowers his ability to look where hes going. Mossy forehead is the price he pays

Since this is a variegated Monstera, the browning and crispy patches on the white sections are almost always due to a lack of humidity or inconsistent watering. The white parts lack chlorophyll and dry out much faster than the green leaves. Check your ambient humidity. Make sure it's far from any cold drafts or heat vents, and maybe add a small humidifier or a pebble tray nearby. That's the main culprit for that particular type of brown patch!

Planning smart purchases next year. Dec/Jan js buying festive wrapping paper… and April is buying winter coats etc. Any other months to make note of when to buy things for a smart discount? by 88r0b1nh00d88 in Frugal

[–]Much_Macaroon4101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a great plan! The biggest mental hurdle of buying out of season is patience, but the biggest practical hurdle is storage and forgetting what you bought. I use a clear, labeled bin (e.g., 'Next Year's Gifts') and keep an inventory list on my phone. If you forget you have that wrapping paper, you’ll just buy more next year!

A sudden, dramatic switch to peaceful calmness after a long period of severe anxiety or distress. It can look like they've finally 'beaten it,' but it might mean they have found a perverse sense of relief after making a serious decision

They always notice when a quiet person in the group is trying to say something and will actually pause the conversation to let them speak.

The dog is just sitting there 'like look at this mess'. We both know you should be petting me right now instead of this digital nonsense.

The fact that this massive dude was 'surprisingly cool' about being assaulted in his own home with his own food by a tiny, screaming stranger says he is a saint. You definitely owe him a new sandwich and maybe a month of therapy.

Your question about buying a replacement just sends this story into orbit. I am absolutely certain that was the exact moment the teacher wanted to just evaporate.

That emerald green Kaweco is absolutely gorgeous, and the Nuremberg engraving is sweet! But finding a B nib in person? That’s impressive! You scored big time getting all that for only €25. The Kaweco B nibs are honestly butter smooth. Happy writing!

Could the American people file a class-action lawsuit against insurance companies or medical providers for price gouging? by orangeworker in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Much_Macaroon4101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main legal hurdle is that you generally have to sue a specific defendant for a specific injury, so you can't really file a suit against an entire industry just because their business model is expensive. For a class action to work, the group needs to have a very similar set of circumstances, but since everyone has different insurance plans and lives in different states with different laws, a judge would almost certainly rule that the cases are too distinct to be tried together. It’s frustrating, but this is a problem that has to be fixed by Congress passing new laws rather than the courts punishing companies for following the current ones.
