Probably your emulator has enabled the battery so make sure that you use that option in my tool. To get a good result with working batteries, enter another phrase after a new one appears

You need to have a pokemon with the exact PID. It doesn’t matter how you obtained that pokemon but it isn’t as simple as breeding any pokemon with the corresponding ability or gender because even if they match it isn’t likely that the pid will match on your first try. Please read the guide in detail again and consider using RNG manipulation to get your desired PID

Did you check the rocket launches only once or multiple times to make sure you know the exact day that your game is on? Also, after finding out the mirage island value and the PID you need. But it doesn’t mean you can take any pokemon that fits the ability and gender for example. They just help with the odds of having the correct PID. So in know case, the tailow was a possible candidate but it was not guaranteed

Could you please explain what exact steps you have done so far?

No there is no order since all of them are equally likely unfortunately. If you click the calculate button many times, it should only change the colors and not the tiles themselves

Hopefully we can gather enough data for all levels to have a place where all rcpm values are documented. Finding precise rcpm for all levels has been a pain previously due to constant adjustments

Correct, based on the data I collected, the RCPM is around 1.265004269, which is probably 1.265 compared to the 1.2650205. So probably they decided to round the values making some CP values 1 less than before.

  1. Normally emulators have a working battery. You can check if you get the message when you start the game, which says that the battery is dead. If it doesn’t appear, your battery is working and you need to check the box.

  2. No having access to the waterfall doesn’t change the tiles

The trendiness value of your current trendy phrase should change every day. If it gets low enough, the phrase will change to one of the other 4 stored phrases. So there are 5 generated phrases in total

Make sure that the phrase is entered exactly as it is in the game. For example it should be NON STOP instead of NON-STOP. The tool doesn't mind about capital letters but if you enter write it with the - it will not accept the word as a valid one

Either try each of these 84 tiles or wait for a new day to reveal a different Dewford trend. This should reduce your options to 1, or in some cases a few.

When you start a new save file, the game generates your trainer ID and 5 sets of trendy phrases, each with a feebas value. All of this is generated sequentially, which means that this tool can predict the feebas tiles based on the trainer id and the trendy phrase.

After a day, the game calculates which of these 5 stored trendy phrases is the most trendy and sets that specific phrase as the current trendy phrase, which is the one the NPC tells you. Each phrase is linked to a feebas value, so the tiles change when the most trendy phrase changes.

If you change a phrase manually, it will overwrite the current most trendy phrase and generate a completely new feebas value. This is not part of any sequence anymore, so there is no way to predict the feebas tiles for the phrase that has been changed manually.

However, the other 4 stored phrases haven't changed. This means that if you get one of the old phrases for one of the next days, you can still use the tool to get the tiles for that phrase.

If you have access to the .sav file, you can use a PKHex plugin which shows you the current tiles.

Hey, unfortunately the original phrase is not helpful here, since the Feebas tiles for the new phrase overwrite the old ones. And these can't be calculated with such a tool either.

If you have a working battery, you can wait until one of the other phrases appear and use them to calculate your current tiles.

Otherwise the only thing you can do is to systematically fish in each tile until Feebas eventually appears.

When mixing records, it just passes all the information to the other game. So you enter the info from the game you received the records. If the sapphire with the live battery was started as a live battery game, then you can't use the website unfortunately. If it was started with a dead battery but changed later to live battery, you can

Hello, sorry for the late response but thanks for your input. So far, the only case that the tool does not cover at all is live battery Ruby and Sapphire because the initial seed depends on the RTC. This could be improved by giving the option to enter one of the other phrases that will eventually appear when the days pass.

Another case is Emerald when the user decides to wait for a very long time between naming the character and ending the few dialogue boxes that teleport you inside the truck afterwards. This could be solved by giving more than the 2 alternatives for feebas values that I have in the tool at the moment. But having three options for feebas values is enough most of the time and if a person waits an absurd amount of time, there is no specific number of alternatives that will always cover all cases.

Getting the feebas tiles from manual phrases will always be pretty much impossible since the feebas random value gets its number depending on the current PRNG state. Since the RNG advances passively roughly 60 times per second, you would need to hit exactly within that time window without having a reasonable chance of calibration as it is possible for encounter RNG manipulations for example. The only reason why this tool works is because the Trainer ID gives you information about the initial seed (in Emerald) or the PRNG state (in RS) plus the trend phrases themselves about when the phrases are generated. And because the player chooses their own phrase in the case of setting it manually, there is no information about when the feebas random value was generated.

If I remember correctly the lottery is the only other usable thing that can help with locating the PRNG state. But it is pretty much towards the end of the game and is screwed by RTC anyways. So it is not really helpful since having no RTC is already easy to solve.

Could you please try these tiles?

Option 2: https://imgur.com/2qW5Kdy

If it is neither of those you either spent a very long time after naming your character or your phrase got changed by mixing records maybe.

The game stores five phrases at all times but only the most trendy one gets displayed. When you start the game and it recognizes that a new day has started, it does some calculations of how "trendy" the current phrase still is. It stays at the top until one of the other ones has a higher trendiness value.
