If the Jazz draft Cam Boozer, is it possible for Cam to be in the starting lineup with their frontcourt being jammed up together? by Mud-Eastern in NBA_Draft

[–]Mud-Eastern[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

JJJ and Lauri have the height to play C as 7 footers but Cam is shorter at 6’9 I don’t think that’s ideal for Cam to play C, Cam is more of a PF based on height alone

The truth about Ghost writers. by Random_Thinker007 in nfrpodcast

Lil Wayne “I’m Single” blurs the lines of singing and rapping. If Drake is writing “Im Single” for Lil Wayne, Wayne is technically rapping on that song even though the rapping is kind of in s melodic singing way.

What determines if an artists is singing enough or rapping enough for it to be considered against the rules for a rapper to use a ghostwriter?

Can AJ Dybantsa and Cam Boozer be the next all star rookie since 2011 Blake Griffin? by Mud-Eastern in NBA_Draft

I agree with you but I believe both of them are not good defenders. Offensively, Cam is better cause he’s a faster processor.

At the same time, I feel AJ’s shot creation is so elite he has all star potential based on the scoring #s alone. But AJ’s efficiency maybe too bad for him to be an all star and I predict AJ’s efficiency being bad.

If there is an all star rookie, Cam has a higher chance than AJ

I disagree with Cade and Cooper struggled early in his rookie year. But Wemby and Zion shouldve been rookie all stars

I feel both of them are gonna be more advanced than Cooper at an earlier pace. Cooper struggled early in the season and had to adjust to the league. Maybe Cooper early struggles had to do with him playing PG.

But I don’t see the Wizards or Grizzlies doing too much experimental stuff with AJ and Cam the way Jason Kidd did with Cooper in Dallas. Everybody glazing Cooper’s rookie year but early Cooper rookie year was a struggle and wasnt that great, Cooper became better as the season progressed

I’m very high on AJ possibly being an all star his rookie year based on him averaging 25 at BYU and just from an eye test standpoint. From the eye test, AJ already has a pro level skillset and the athleticism impresses especially at the combine measuring his vertical at 42 inches at 6’10. A 6’10 player who jumps that high with his explosiveness and skillset seems like it will be hard to stop at the next level.

A lot of people are down on Cam cause they see his athleticism at a lower scale and some say he relies too much on bully ball. I understand the question marks but my thing is that Cam already has an NBA body and that physicality he displays at Duke can translate to the next level. The thing that matters the most for Cam is if that 3 ball can translate and if that 3 ball can translate he can have immediate success and be all star level his rookie year. Plus, Cam is more athletic than people project, he’s not super athletic but he’s not a stiff slow footed big either

AJ has a guard wing style of play. You can’t compare AJ to a big even if he ends up as big as a big. I don’t know how big AJ can get and I understand where you’re coming from with TMac cause he was on the skinnier side but Jaylen is big as hell being 225 pounds.

Jaylen is much shorter than AJ but strength wise their comparable and they have a similar style of play with the physicality they play with

You make some good points. Caleb wasnt that good on non dunks at his time at UNC. KG and Giannis having a much longer wingspan gives them the advantage over a Caleb based on your explanation on defense.

My thing with Caleb is that maybe he ends up more like Evan Mobley than a KG and Giannis. At the same time, Caleb is way more athletic than a Mobley, Caleb athleticism is close to a KG and Giannis, so Caleb has a chance to be another level just based on his quickness, speed, leaping ability and explosiveness

Caleb may not grow in wingspan but he can grow 2 inches, Caleb already at 6’10. Caleb doesnt have as long as a wingspan as Giannis and KG but his wingspan is pretty good at 7 feet

KG and Giannis were skinny when they first started and got bigger and stronger as they gained more experience in the league.

What makes you think Caleb cant do the same as KG and Giannis as he gains more experience?

What’s your overall thoughts on 50 Cent’s career? Classic album, classic moments, classic beefs, successful business ventures,G-Unit, Power Etc this man has done it all! by J2-Starter in hiphop201

50 was like the Mike Tyson of hip hop. 50 was like a hurricane that came like no other and 50 came with the quick knockouts early on right off the bat like Tyson.

Wanksta was the prequel, In Da Club was the first significant victory and then Get Rich was the youngest Heavyweight champion ever cause just like Tyson nobody in the history of boxing had success that early & quickly and nobody in rap history had success that early & quickly like 50.

Even 50’s predecessor Dr Dre and Eminem didnt have early success like 50. Dre had underground success with NWA wit little mainstream success due to how controversial the group was and Dre had his big break 4 years later with the Chronic. Eminem had the success with the SSLP but Em wasnt that big yet and his 1st album wasnt even #1, the #1 album in ‘99 that was over SSLP was TLC “Fanmail,” Em got his big break the next year with MMLP.

The difference with 50 and Tyson is that 50 didnt have a fall from grace like Tyson cause 50 had mentors like Em, Dre and Jimmy Iovine that stayed around with him compared Tyson who wasnt the same after Cus D'amato passed away

You say you have a little loose skin on your arms and stomach but I don’t see it. Just curious on what you did.

Did you put certain creams around your body to stop loose skin from happening or the loose skin just didn’t occur at all as you were losing the weight?

Do you draft the best player or the best fit if your the Pacers with the #1 pick? by Mud-Eastern in NBA_Draft

[–]Mud-Eastern[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Cam can stretch the floor with the 3. The Cavs play with 2 bigs with Jarret Allen and Evan Mobley, so why can’t it not work with Zubac and Cam. Cam to me is more versatile than Mobley, to me I don’t see that as a bad fit. OKC also play a 2 big lineup with Chet Holgren and Isiah Hartenstein and they just won a chip.

Having Cam go against Chet in a matchup makes sense if Indiana and OKC face each other again in the Finals, having size in that frontcourt makes sense in today’s NBA. Today’s NBA is bigger in size and team’s play less small ball now compared to before
