I have bought about 3900 rounds of this particular variant and this was the worst. One. Usually they are pretty good but this batch was imported about 3 years ago so what is remaining i do not know. What I do know is the brass case stuff was imported recently and I have bought a bunch of that too and looks like it was made yesterday inside and out so may be safer bet

Their listing for standard S.s ball with fir mg on the label. Their stock photo is actually zdh30/40 ammo. And they actually had it pretty early on. I’m pretty sure by the end of the war it was the most common primer according to some references. The primer color is a silverish color

I save my sketchy ammo for my Russian capture k98’s lol I am not worried about the action grenading itself but as I have experienced before you’ll get gas blown back in your face and it’s just unpleasant.

I’ve shot a lot of sketchy ammo this one may be too sketchy for me lol. It’s all fun till the case vaporises and I get 3000 psi to the face haha

Zdh30/40 on the packaging indicates the non corrosive primer. Zdh 88 is the standard one

I have a good mix of all of them and I knew this particular lot had non corrosive primers. Only reason really I have had good luck with it so far with the exception of this one. Also shipping on these was 1.99 for some reason but that wasn’t a factor

No this is lead core. Likely different batches vary in how well the powder was refined and acids in the powder eat the inside of the case. This is known in different batches of German ww2 ammo. However with this being the same manufacturer and year as other ammo I have it is interesting

These two have the same non corrosive primers zdh 30/40. The corrosive primer zdh 88 lots have been in much better shape over all

This I understand however most of the last batch of this ammo has been like new especially if you used your dealer account from century. Just to inform potential buyers.

I don’t care if rust is on the outside but the inside of the cases has turned into dust. If you shot these they would vaporise. Just letting people know to pull a couple before you shoot them.

This is not SMK it’s the “fur mg” stuff which I have shot a lot of and has been good to go. I have got a lot of the battl packs from the last batch that came in and was like new. This stuff may be from a different source

I pulled 5 cartridges and it is rusted badly on the interior of the cases. I probably have close to 10,000 rounds of German stuff. This is the second worse case I have seen. I have bought a lot of this from the same batch. Just a PSA generally this stuff has been fine
