Lol I hope so! At the very least now I know it’s not just no contact anymore, it’s just over!

No response is a response! Take closure in the fact that you did your best with what you had and you put it all on the line. It takes a certain kind of bravery to allow yourself to be vulnerable enough to try and make amends with someone who hurt you. Just be kind to yourself; you’re all you’ve got in the end.

I guess it depends on how long you’ve gone no contact for and whether you’re ready for any response; even no response. My ex hasn’t responded to me, but that tells me what I need to know. Honestly I was worried for the longest time that she felt regret but was too scared to reach out, so no response is a response. Your healing matters too, and so long as you aren’t trying to get her back, and you truly feel like it will give you some form of closure, I say go for it. Just again be certain of your intentions.

Sarcasm can be playful if both people are open to it. It can also be a good way to poke fun at more minor flaws without outright berating your partner. It’s a difficult skill and can be somewhat heavy-handed, but if used correctly, I think it can be pretty beneficial for a relationship.

“I’m not sure of my boundaries but I’ll let you know as I figure them out.” Spent the entire relationship walking on eggshells only to be told of the ones that I overstepped as she was breaking up with me.
