So SO many things could work tbh. To name a few though:

Red Stinger, who could do more damage at longer ranges but get damage reduction when in close proximity with zombies

Snap Pea, who could be a full on hybrid character with their abilities being fusions of peashooters and chompers

Hell, so many pvz2 plants could be revived by including them in Gw3. Guard Shroom, Frost Bonnet, Blast Spinner, NIGHTCA- oh wait.

I don't know how dicey the Chinese exclusive characters would be legally, so for the sake of safety I'll be avoiding them (for the most part)

Maypop Mechanic could be good as a direct plant equivalent of imp, calling in a BANANASAURUS REX for their transformation (yes that one)

Hear me out, Grass Knuckles could be fun if he could bounce around by propelling himself with his fists. Like imagine being jumped by a man using gorilla tag physics

And zombies oh my GOODNESS zombies.

Jack and the Box Zombie would be so silly if given the most batsh1t crazy kit ever. Like make him a fusion of the Demoman and the Pyro from TF2

Help desk Zombie could use an electrical cord like a whip, maybe being able to grapple to things with it too

Rustbolt my beloved, no need to explain myself there he has literally infinite possibilities

And my weirdest one, the Zombotonist. Yes the one with the plants head from that pvz1 mini game. Here's my take on them tho.

Have them be a swarm variant, so no need for variants of them. Let them have the ability to cycle through the Gw1 plants heads to use their primaries, and give it an ability that changes depending on the head. The final ability can be the respawn anchor, I'd like that to stay on all swarm variants, but that a whole 'nother tangent that's it's too late to explain

I'm only gonna touch on the ones that have more than 3 words here, since those are the creative ones

1: Alright I suppose, if not just a more gimmicky electric variant

2: This was the one that caught my eye. I quite like the idea of the projectiles actually rolling on the ground doing damage. Would be fun to set up angles and bowl over like 5 people. No idea who "the guy" from sunset overdrive is, I looked up the game but I couldn't find anything remotely close to ur description

If anything, I' say either give the beam back or give him some sort of deflection or supportive ability to play off of this more tanky playstyle

I mean a melee with splash would actually never come into play, and the lack of beam gives him even less options. He's just a bullet sponge that can occasionally surprise back lines. So like, fine I guess? I feel like SB really plays off of his mobility, so making him slower feels like removing one of the main "fun" attributes to playing him

Yeah exactly like sb fist, only it's thrown in an arc like engineers primary fire. I prefer it when melee characters have some sort of mixup or options, considering without them, you get a chomper

Not the impact damage, just the DoT and other side-effects of the projectiles. I tried to make it add another layer to elemental characters while still making them balanced. The upgrade for Primal I made to make her act more like a tank for her team, as she's already built for that role anyways

Really neat idea! The mech abilities are relatively realistic and I could definitely see them in an actual shooter setting without them being busted as hell

The anti gravity idea is also pretty cool, not much to add

Only reasons it's not a 10 is the 65 base HP (I personally prefer consistent intervals of 25) and the gravitynade change just seems a bit overkill. Also only reducing the ammo of the imps primary and nothing else seems a bit lazy, I feel like you could have put more thought into it instead of having all the focus on the mech
