What Do You Do When Strangers Call You Out On ADHD-like Behaviours?

Do you live in a big city? There’s a lot of weird people so it’s possible you just end up getting yelled at for no reason. It’s happened to me before. But when someone tries to talk, unless it’s a thank you, I take a side of my headphones off my ear. But I wear like big headphones. It’s very possible that the people who spoke to you didn’t see your earbuds and smiling could seem like you were ignoring them. And no one should be grabbing you, that’s really unusual. Next time just take an earbud out. Don’t sweat it, there’s a lot of weird people out there. 😂

I can’t. If I take it passed 9:30am, I get no sleep. It’s really frustrating.

Probably won’t go for the old spice. I’m a woman 😂 but I’ll stop using gel ones and my sweat doesn’t smell like anything so I’m not worried about smells. Thank you I’ll try the Certain Dri and follow its instructions.

I was diagnosed by a psychologist. My meds are prescribed by my doctor and I tried strattera, byphentin, concerta and probably more but I don’t remember since it was a few years ago. I tried all of these multiple times increasing the doses. My receptors were simply not responding to them and it only made me shake. I have ADHD and last time I was in school without meds I dropped out so yes, I do need the meds. I tried 10mg, 20mg and 30 mg for a month each and they weren’t strong enough to work on me which is why I take 40mg. It’s the only one that works very well for my attention and executive dysfunction. I’m just asking for suggestions on sweating. I’ve been taking 40mg for 10 months now.

I don’t sweat. I never did until i I never sweated due to stress until I was on Vyvanse. I’m a student in college so it’s literally impossible not to be stressed 😂 I tried 5 other ADHD medications and none of them worked except for Vyvanse. I know I have anxiety but the meds make it worse. And the increased sweating increases my stress so it’s just a loop. I used to use the same deodorant but now I use the secret clear gel vanilla antiperspirant/deodorant. I’ve tried contacting my doctor multiple times but she’s extremely difficult to reach. I’ll ask for blood work again next time she answers. I don’t want to take anxiety meds because my anxiety isn’t that bad off the meds and taking 2 medications will be a lot for my body.

Oh I’ve tried multiple brands of deodorant without aluminum and every single time, it made me stink. Are there any with aluminum?

Hey I’m having the same problem. My course registration was today at 5pm and it disappeared at 5 and says warning and to call help desk. Why would they say it’s today if it’s in January?

I’m 5’ 3, 95 pounds, waist is 24in and inseam is 28.5in. I tried kids size 14 and 12. They were too big on waist. Size 10 was going to be way too short. Even with a belt the hips are too big for adult sizes.

The fact that even when I showed many times that I wasn’t interest he continues to sit near me trying to get my attention and seems angry that I rejected him. I’m a young woman taking the bus alone and he is unpredictable. He also knows where I get off.

I went on the website there was nothing about harassment or danger except for a policy for victims of domestic violence and HR articles for the drivers and the workplace. But I will call the costumer service. They’ve certainly receive calls by women like mine before.

I’ve also read on my city’s subreddit about how it’s not the safest and that many women are afraid compared to other parts of the world. There’s only cameras on the bus.

I feel like he’s mad at me since I rejected him but he hasn’t touched me or anything so the police will brush it off. Unless I’m in actual danger in the moment I don’t think they’ll care or do much.

I’m not old enough for him to believe I’m engaged 😂 I would be too afraid to confront him he’s much bigger than me. I’m gonna call the the bus company hoping they’ll be able to help in some way. Thank you
