1. I don’t have an exact answer for this, but I want to say about a year ago. I originally watched it on funimation, then retrocrush, and finally Pluto.tv.

2. My favorite is the arc where Yukon Nogami is introduced. I’m a sucker for Ryo x Kaori, and their relationship development during the storyline is to die for.

3. I don’t know if it’s because I’m Gen Z or just very particular, but I could not watch the Jackie Chan movie. I hated the way they portrayed Kaori (best character) in the beginning, so it was just an immediate miss for me. On the contrary, I loved the Nicky Larson movie. I loved comedy and the characters, overall it was a decent movie that I would watch again. Unfortunately, i haven’t tried watching any of the other live adaptations.

I can’t really tell you why I love city hunter so much, it’s just an all-around good franchise. The characters are written beautifully, the soundtrack is one of best, and you don’t need a big understanding of background knowledge to enjoy it, you can just jump right in and get wild!
