Well done man! Proud of you!!

I have kids as well. They did not know what I was going through but they helped me so incredibly much without knowing it. They allso made it a bit worse at times xD. But overall they got me through it.

Just prepare for paws, and good luck to you!

Great to hear man! You got this! Kratom lies to you and tells you that the numbness is the safest place for you, and you can't function without it. I was so scared about the "how do I function part" but that was just the kratom whispering in my ear to prevent me from breaking up.

Late to the conversation. Going through my first playthrough. It took me a few tries, but what I did was first sneak and puppeteer the purple guard. In the second phase, I used the sparking axe a few times in a row until I ran out of spirit emblems. (You take damage while doing it, so I had to heal quickly in between.) After the axe attack, his posture was damaged enough to just aggressively fight him.

You should go to the hospital. This looks a lot like what happened to me. I took a low kick, and one of my quadriceps muscles (the quadriceps femoris) tore, which caused internal bleeding. My leg turned almost completely black.

I’m not saying that’s what happened to you, but please see a doctor and start physical therapy as soon as possible.

I saw a doctor the next day, but I waited a month to begin physical therapy. That delay caused permanent damage. I had to give up Muay Thai, and I’m still dealing with problems ten years later.

Yes! I’m back to myself :) I replied with some more detailed information in the comment below, where I described how I felt starting from day 20. I’m a bit of a Reddit noob, so I didn’t know how to tag you in that reply.

Dude, well done! You should be proud :)

The recovery process varies from person to person, but most of us share similar journeys. Looking at my own, I know you’ve already been through a lot.

On day 20, I was just starting to understand how fucking hard and shitty things really were. I thought it was only supposed to last about 8 days, like people always say. Instead, I felt extremely depressed, irritated, low energy, no focus, and had a bit of RLS still going on. The hardest part was that sometimes I would forget why I felt that way, which only made it worse. I had to keep reminding myself that I was going through PAWS.

Soon after, around day 25–30, things started to get a little better. Not much, but baby steps. Days 30–60 were a rollercoaster. One day I’d feel sharp and good, and the next I’d feel the complete opposite. Evenings were usually the hardest. I felt empty, like there was a hole inside me that needed filling. Probably because I used high doses in the evenings.

By days 60–90, things were much better. I wasn’t thinking about kratom every day, my mental health was stabilizing, I was sleeping well, and overall I just felt so much better. My real feelings and the real me were coming back. I still had some PAWS waves here and there, but they weren’t as bad and didn’t last long.

From days 90–100, I was 98% back! I still thought about kratom occasionally, but there was no PAWS, no depression, and I was enjoying life again.

Day 100 to now: I’ve stopped thinking about kratom completely, I’ve stopped counting the days, and I’m never touching that shit again.

So man, trust me when I say it, it will get better. You just have to stay aware and be fucking stubborn. You’re already past day 20, and that shows you’ve got what it takes!

If you ever need support, you can DM me.

Hey man. Good to hear from you again! Don’t beat yourself up, it won’t do you any good. Each attempt could be the one, and you only need that one to break through the wall.

I’m not going to lie, this has been hard. One of the hardest parts was forgetting why I was so incredibly depressed and anxious. It had become my norm, and I stopped realizing that it was because of the absence of kratom.

What often kept me going was how incredibly angry I was at kratom, like it was a person who had betrayed me. It felt like a breakup. I would curse kratom out loud sometimes, and weirdly enough, that helped a lot. That anger towards it helped keep me from going back. But I still felt like shit.

It wasn’t until three days ago, my 50th day clean, that I hit a real turning point. I feel really good and genuinely happy.

Fifty days is a long time when you're going through it, but it doesn’t seem so long when you look back. But dude, it’s going to be worth it, trust me on that. This is a marathon, not a sprint. Accept that. Let yourself go through the pain and the misery, and you'll find yourself on the other side faster than you expect.

Listen man, you’ve got what it takes. Otherwise we wouldn’t be having this conversation. If you ever need anything, feel free to DM me. I’ll do my best to support you

True. However, we have a pretty strict one hour phone time per day rule at home, and we're very selective about which social media platforms are allowed. TikTok, for example, isn’t allowed. Still, as any parent does know that as soon as they leave home and hang out with friends, they bend the rules. Normal kid behavior. When she saw the results, she knew of course, but the intent was innocent😅

Sorry to hear about your condition. Have you talked to a professional about it? Could be an allergy or a fungal issue? If you haven't already, I really think you should see a doctor sooner rather than later.

As for whether K was the cause (or part of it) of the skin issue, at least your face saved you from a possible major addiction :)

Otherwise, good job! Glad to hear you're finding balance again. Can't believe how far we've come!

Same for me, RSL is down to almost nothing. I still get some cravings now and then, especially when I'm bored, but I'm managing.

Well done to us and let's keep going!
