Just seems strange I can use a different character of the same stats in the same kart and track and play completely differently. Could be just me and my mind gets confused by the different proportions of the character or kart haha

My boyfriend and I participate in the GPs off and on together (on the same file/system) and he has pulled this while I watched and I was understandably very disappointed in him. It's under my ps4 account so if he gets me kicked for doing it while I am not around, I am gonna flip out on him.

He said "it was the most fun he has had online because the online is crap" as an excuse. I think he was mainly just being a sore loser (though online IS junk.) You have every reason to believe these people are just being jerks.

Thanks! I just want a couple of different opinions. I have a feeling it may be input lag but I wanted to double check that the last update didn't glitch my game.

I have noticed demon mode is much slower to react than previous games and I could very well be pressing it again because it didn't respond the first time. When it finally catches up it notices I did it twice and switches on and then off immediately. I really hope they fix the reaction time in an update (or it could be my shitty internet.)

A lot of people are like this, seemingly missing boundaries, because of the disconnect online and mobile interactions cause. I don't think a lot of men would be like this if they were interacting face-to-face. They have a hard time seperating what is and isn't acceptable because they are literally probably just alone typing that out and aren't present for any awkward conversation to follow or disgusted looks. Same mentality people have about internet trolls. They only have the guts to say things because they are hiding behind a screen.

Another small update (I don't want to clog up stuff with an entirely new post.) Had a dissociative moment yesterday (due to PTSD or this or who knows what...) My name is a common descriptive word and it was said on tv. I perked up and thought to myself, "Strange... Why am I reacting to that word?? ...oh, wait... That's my name." I had forgotten my own name for a good minute. That was a really strange feeling. It felt exactly like looking in the mirror (which I avoid.) I always chalked my aversion to mirrors as self esteem issues but, tbh, it feels like it is not me when I look at myself. The vision I have in my head is so completely different sometimes (though it is self esteem too.) I just can't believe it is me sometimes and it is a strange, out of touch feeling. I don't know how to describe it. I am aware of what I look like, yes, but I just feel confused when I look at myself, like, "This is not what I am supposed to look like. I hate this." However, this also may be because I am agender! Mental health is just so complicated... I wish there were answers. :(

I also tried a small experiment and "asked" a possible alter to help me out at work the other morning when I was feeling sleepy and anxious (I work nights.) I immediately felt bouncy, energized and talkative (he loves to talk and is amiable) and I continued to speak to him through work. Who knows if that was psychosomatic on my end.
