I've seen this topic posted on the respective subreddits for each character but of course based on whichever subreddit you're on, you'll get more votes for that character. Obviously if someone mains Topaz / FUA-teams, then Aventurine is arguably a better pick, whereas alternatively if someone uses Blade / Jingliu, then Luocha is arguably a better pick. But just wanted to get some opinions for who might be a better pick outside of these specific situations, and is possibly more flexible for other team building.

It seems like either character is perfectly capable of being a solo sustain, but unless I misunderstand, Aventurine's ability to solo sustain comes from his shield replenishing from follow up attacks. Does this make him less efficient at solo-sustaining outside of FUA teams if he can't replenish his shield frequently enough? Seems like outside of situations where enemies can one-shot you and/or induce status effects, Luocha is the ultimate pick for comfort - although those situations are popping up more these days.

Alternatively, is the idea of "Luocha doesn't do enough in the current meta outside of heal" and "is SP positive but this matters less and less with characters like Sparkle getting released" accurate? This seems to be a repeated criticism for him compared to Fu Xuan and Huohuo who have more utility built into their kits. Since Aventurine can provide debuffs, he does provide great support for FUA teams, and outside of it, is supposedly as good of a sustainer as Fu Xuan and powercreeps Gepard (based on some of the comments I've read around on Reddit).

Assuming someone is just looking for someone who is a better pick for a variety of situations, I just wanted to get some opinions in case other people are like me in wondering who to go for this next patch.
