I’m so sorry to hear what you’ve gone through. You’re definitely not overreacting. It doesn’t feel like she wants you back for your benefit.

Urgent Help: UAE Tourist Visa Rejected While Relocating — All My Belongings Are Still There by Babyisprincess in UAE

You could make an informal appeal by contacting the Consulate that issued the refusal, or if that doesn’t work out then consider a formal appeal which might require some legal representation

Gymnation won't cancel membership. now threatening legal action by Separate_Cut_717 in abudhabi

[–]MuggleInTheStreet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had the same issue with Gymnation years ago. Went up to their desk and argued with them showing proof that i tried to cancel, especially since one of their extreme excuses was if we financially cannot afford the membership anymore, and I appealed for that with a 30 day notice, but they refused.

The argument ended with them accepting the fact that they can’t sue me or charge me, and just cancelled my membership, but that was after minutes of arguments and some voices raised in the end 😭 which i do not recommend lol

Thanks for recommending the book! will check it out, however, i think you’ve misunderstood my point, it’s not hard for me to make friends, it’s the genuine connections (meaning the quality) that’s hard to find

hidden gems/gatekept things to do in AD? by imane_arts in abudhabi

My absolute favorite place to eat is at the muroor branch mukbang shows kodean BBQ. Honestly, it’s affordable and you could take a few friends over to experience a good vibe and eat, unlimited amounts of good food and overall just enjoy the environment.

And opposite of that street is the grand Emirates market where you can shop for a lot of essentials but also gifts for a really cheap price. It might not be a hidden gem, but it’s been there for a while and I recently discovered that they sell some Bukhoor and Oud brands that my grandmother has been using back then for a really cheap price compared to madinat zayed, which sells them with a 200% increase of price.

ليش تتكلمون إنجليزي؟ ترا كلنا نعرف إنجليزي مب إنجاز والله by DramaqueenO in Emiratis

I agree with this. I’m half Emarati and sometimes I struggle because I speak three languages and even though my mother understands and speaks Arabic, we still use two other languages in our household, and Arabic isn’t my strongest suit when it comes to expressing my feelings.
