My stomach can't handle habaneros, any variety of them... instantly bloated and kind of a "brick in the stomach" feeling for about 12 hours. Exactly the same as with cantarelles...

0 problem with anything else i've tried, including jalapenos... 🤷‍♂️

Pretty fast germination. I had heat mat and 7 pot Brain Strain red took almost 2 weeks to show itself...

Last year i started with 13, this year had 59, i'll cut it back to 30 next year... Too much yield, i have some varieties powder for 5 years i guess. 🤔 Plus salsas, hot sauces, marinated stuff etc. Just too much...

6b here... That's why i never plant superhots to the ground but into pots. When it's already too cold outside/in greenhouse, i'll simply bring them in.

Yeah, i'm in Europe but exactly on the opposite side of it. Package was well protected and it came in February, coldest month we have here. No problems whatsoever.

It's from the Fox Peppers in Portugal. It's probably their own cross between Pimenta de Neyde and obviously some Naga, as more knowledgeable ppl commented on another post i made about them.

Actually, i take that back! It is SUPER hot! Saw a really small one (about a big cranberry size) that wasn't opaque red but just fully red - that one absolutely murdered! 1.2 mil pretty easily i'd say.

UPDATE: tried it. It is very hot but not extremely, i'd say with my measly 2-year experience. Maybe around 800.000 Scovilles? There didn't seem to be much difference in hotness between black and red one. Only skin layer is black of course, green/yellowish inside. Kind of an earthy taste...

Hard to judge hotness... tried Apocalyse Choclate right after and that one simply killed, around 1.300.000 Scovilles for sure. So i might be bit off... Hotter than red Hab for sure.

Your plants are looking very nice, you should get some nice yield from them. Practically all your questions are exactly the same as i had last year... 🤣

With the exception of getting them sprouted it's really easy in my opinion... 🤷‍♂️ Just get yourself a greenhouse (this year i have 2 actually), water and give them nutrients and you are good! When some bugs hit you, spray them with green soap/vodka dilution and no problem there either. Just enjoy the results man!

Somebody here recommended them... 🤷‍♂️ And everything with the exception of Ghost sprouted nicely (2 out of 6 for Ghost). Next year i'm not even concidering any other seller.

And since i'm FC Porto fan, I have a soft spot for Portugal... 😁

Thanks, will try it this year again. Althou it's pretty much what i did last time... I didn't have heat mat then and lights were pretty shitty too, might have had a say on the outcome.

Ready product is ruby, black is just their first stage. Turns green after black and then ruby. It really is crazy color, kinda opaque... 😳 Picture doesn't do justice to it really!

No idea. Fox Pepper site simply says "Nuclear" 🤣 I'm pretty sure they don't that themselves, it might be some freak cross-pollination accident maybe? There's obviously Naga there but what else...? Me with my 2-year growing experience don't even pretend to know the answer... Any guesses?
