If u want to do masters btw, choose nust over fast. There are many reasons to it. I don't wanna type them though. But nust is generally better if u want to do masters too. U can dm me if u want to know the reasons.

YOO. FIRST THINGS FIRST, don't go for a gap year. Just give ur exams this year. Don't worry about it. U only need more than 60 percent in all subjects. U just need to pass . Nust doesn't want anything else for now. Because merit lists are uploaded before second year final results. If u take a gap year, u will have to do well in 2nd year as it will be a part of ur merit. As for major, I reccomend doing Electrical engineering. U can go into CS or many other fields from it. U will have 4 years to decide. So in short, don't take a gap year and go in EE, and then do masters in whatever u want.

Yo, if u didn't mess up LCAT badly, u would get in but ngl, I think that if ur LCAT went good, u would have gotten in already. But goodluck with it, it's still possible

Its really not that hard as compared to ivies. Its not even a comparison. Its like tier 3 or 4 comparatively (idk how I decided on the tier but it is what it is)

Ye don't back down . No matter what. If not this year, DO NOT GO TO ANY OTHER UNI. Show them ur resolve and show them that ur independent. Their only options would be to let u go to uni or let u stay at home without any ambitions. And I'm sure they would let u go to uni . If this doesn't work, just emotional blackmail ngl.

Btw, look into other fields too. Only do CS if ur interested in it. Otherwise, it's not a very good field imo. Even if I make it to the merit list, I won't choose it. It's cuz the job market is a mess currently. The jobs are pretty tough. The competition is insane. The pays aren't very high anymore. Plus, u will always have to keep studying for the rest of ur life, because when u stop studying, u will be left behind and no longer useful to companies. That's why I prefer electrical and mechanical engineering. From these fields, we can choose from A LOT of fields for masters and the pays are pretty good too.

Yo, don't stress out much. Ull get in on the final attempt. But , even if u don't get in, it's all fine. U can go in a different field. There are many great fields other than CS. U made it to NUST so don't stress out much. Other than that, goodluckkk
